Ooh. Was just hoping there Hazard had said he wants to stay at Chelsea forever. Sorry. Was just being a paranoid and miserable fella here.

What makes you think that Lewandowski won't be able to create space for others with his off the movement? He's just as effective outside the box as he is inside of it. Whether it's holding the ball up, linking the play, play 1-2s or create space for others, he can do that. We can talk about how much a goal poacher is great because they can convert chances to goals and all that but with how the game is developing now, a more all rounder striker like Lewandowski is much more valuable. It allows the team to play in more than 1 way and making us less predictable. You wanna go more direct and ask that ST to hold up the play and linking with others whether it's movement or playing 1-2s like Drogba used to do for us, he can do that. You want to ask him play on the last shoulder of the defenders, he can also do that. Goal poachers are limited as a player. Give them chances to score and they'll score most of the time. However, if you don't give him chances, then we are practically playing with 10 men just like how things are sometimes with Torres playing upfront for us.

Luiz has picked up 5 yellow cards as well(4 in PL and 1 in LC) and served that 1 game ban against West Ham already.

No press conference for this game and they don't do press conference on Saturday. Regardless of that though, the club's in-house TV will always interview with the manager ahead of the game every week to get their thoughts. And here it is for this weekend:

For a moment there, I thought Hazard had said he wants to be Mr. Chelsea till I realized it was Mr. 100% at Chelsea. Disappointed...

We don't care about such small personal awards. We only care about him guiding the team to winning trophies. He has already messed up one. There are still at least 3 more up for grabs. Lets see what will happen then.

Lets just say our weekend will be perfect if we beat Everton and United, City, Spurs, Arsenal all drop points. Get closer to the Top 2 and pull away from the chasing pack below us. Not having high hopes for that to happen though.

Not sure how reliable but we have been linked with Negredo again... http://www.insidespanishfootball.com/breaking-chelsea-negotiating-e18-million-transfer-of-sevilla-striker-alvaro-negredo/

We will....in 4-5 years time when we go and bid 50m for him.
-
Can't see that happening since they're at home. They'll find a way to win, as always.

United are playing West Brom at Old Trafford.

In that case, we need to report this to the authories then for their bullying on Ramires...

Perhaps he's more of the quiet character compare to Luiz, Oscar and Piazon. And besides, he already has a family with kids.

Well, if you say so boss...

So? Despite playing in the England U-16/17/19/21 level, he was born in Nigeria after all. Nothing all with deciding to play for his country birth is it? Same thing has happened with a lot of other players. AND had he chosen to play for England, he would still have commitment to England as well. Point is still the same!
-
Deary me. Two pages of arguments/debates over such petty matters! Like it or not, we are gonna have to just deal with Mikel and Moses being absent for us in January. Not ideal and we all don't like it but those players have commitment to their country as well, not just the club. And besides, we have experienced such situation in the past with the likes of Drogba, Kalou, Essien etc all going to AFCON to January as well. Don't get all the moaning suddenly. Arguing over such matters here is not going to change anything. Don't like it? Send your discontent to the African authorities!

Alex McLeish has just been appointed as the new manager of Nottingham Forest. Not sure if that's gonna be a good thing for Hutchinson. Eeek!

Here's something potentially interesting: After 18 Premier League matches last season, our record stands at: W10 D4 L4 F36 A21 CS4 - 34 points After 18 Premier League matches this season: W10 D5 L3 F37 A17 CS8 - 35 points

Here's a few more stats to throw in: 1. Chelsea have only failed to scored twice in their last 14 Premier League away matches - 0-0 draws against QPR & Arsenal(last season). 2. Chelsea have only kept 5 clean sheets in their last 21 Premier League away matches and 3 of those have come in 9 league away games this season. 3. Everton have not failed to scored in their last 13 Premier League home matches. Last time they didn't score at Goodison in the league was against Arsenal in March as they lost 1-0 then. 4. Everton have only kept 1 clean sheet in their last 10 Premier League home matches and it came in the 1-0 win over Manchester United this season.

My concern about that is the Stoke away game. Need all the physical players that we have but it looks like we might miss both of them!
