We re-write and set loads of new stats after the game today...

One thing that is pissing me off slightly right now is just because we thrashed Villa 8-0 today, Benitez's worshippers(Liverpool fans especially) are out in force saying that we are idiots to go against him!

Think his performance today showed that he still got a lot to improve on and needs major fine tuning. Still got a lot to prove before claiming he's a special player in the making. And the number of times he got caught offside today was quite ridiculous!

That was simply a gorgeous goal. Haven't seen him scored one like that from distance in ages already and it's great that he managed to do that today. As for his contract, I really REALLY hope the club offers him a contract extension. Can't imagine the thought of seeing him leaving at the end of the season.

As much as Luiz has done well in the pivot so far, we have gotta remember that he has played there only against Monterrey and Villa, no disrespect to them. They are not the toughest of oppositions and were pretty poor on the day we played them. No doubt Luiz has shown positives playing in that role but he needs to be tested against better quality oppositions first before we can officially say 'Luiz CAN play in the pivot'.

Mikel will be back for this one after serving his 3-match suspension. We have won back-to-back league games now and vital to carry the momentum that we have from our last 2 games into this one. Won't be easy as Norwich have improved a lot since we beat them back in October but we need the 3 points here especially when we travel to our bogey ground Goodison Park next weekend.

How you know he won't? If what Benteke said is true, then Hazard could indeed move to Madrid one day. After all, Ronaldo moved from United to Madrid.

That is rather fast to improve his contract having just joined us last season. Nonetheless, it's a deserved one I guess! Maybe he's just playing well looking to get his wages increased and then go play like crap after that.
