Just goes to show how lucky United were fortunate to win at places like Etihad, Bridge and Anfield this season. Looked so average against City, Madrid, us and even the ones against teams with decent quality like Everton etc.

Don't want to be negative but City's performance tonight provide more reasons why the chances of us winning this Sunday is rather low. Will be too powerful, physical and fresher for us to deal with. And our recent performances and results against City are not giving much optimism either.

There might well be a great massacre if he doesn't come back.

He's probably just playing for the contract and ensure that he doesn't get thrown out in the summer..

That was Barcelona and appointing someone as outspoken and egoistic as Mourinho would go against their tradition, history, image etc. This, however, is Man City. Take those aspects of Mourinho out of the way, he brings success, guaranteed. And that is what Man City wants to achieve to become an ever bigger club than they are now. So I don't see why appointing Mourinho would not be a possibility for them.

Thought he was rather poor today. Maybe it's the effect of playing 3-4 games in the past week & over the course of the season but he kept losing the ball against Sunderland. Poor passes and poor touches. Hope he can pick up his form, especially in the league.

Azpilicueta has just played 4 games in 9 days. He needs to be rested for this one especially with City coming up next Sunday. Benitez mentioned the possibility about playing Ferreira in the 1st leg but went with Azpi because of his stamina levels. Hope he realized Azpi looks a tad tired out there today and is one of the few that needs a rest.

Wasn't a great performance but perhaps it was understandable given it was our 4th game in 9 days! Nonetheless, we pick up a big big 3 points, which is the only thing that matters at this stage of the season.

Indeed. Much has been made about the loss of Bale and to a certain extent Lennon and Bale but nothing about Fellaini and Pienaar. Like CHOULO said, wouldn't be surprised if Spurs win. That's just the way it works really..

I'm not sure why are we even arguing this in the first place. At the end of the day, I can't be bothered if it was Roman, AVB, Emenalo, security guards or the tea lady that got Mata here. Just grateful that we managed to get him and have him playing for us.
