  1. That's great, but who can put graffiti on their shirt and make it look good?
  2. Mes Que Un Club, indeed. http://www.guardian....12th-best-world Mr. Rosell, if your 11 players really are the best in the world, kindly explain the woefully inadequate goalkeeping of Valdes, and your fragile ball playing defence being rogered by a past-it 34 year old. And also explain the best 11 players in the world unable to get past Salomon Kalou at right back.
  3. I should point out that liking a kit is subjective. Some or even all of you may be mightily impressed with those kits but to me they're an eyesore.
  4. That he did, but he was not helped by Red Roman turning up and spunking money. He also was not helped by the presence of Jose Mourinho. For any English team in that period it would have taken something monumental to beat both the blank cheque given to Mourinho and the Portuguese' own managerial talent. And to an extent they did push on in Europe with that 05/06 team, they could well have won the final.
  5. That shall happen the day each of the 6000+ members on here, and the wider footballing community universally agree that Salomon Kalou is the greatest player of his generation. Moving back on topic, Marseille et al don't get good kits from adidas at all, they get monstrosities like this: Alright, they're not 'template' kits, by which I mean the generic kits that are made for most clubs, but they're still ghastly.
  6. Another one impressed by that silent movie?
  7. We wouldn't have made the knockout stages without that brace against Valencia where he ran the show.
  8. If it was based on who single handedly dragged their team to victory it's got to be, so far, Drogba. That's before someone team carries another club for the rest of this season or their nation in Euro 12.
  9. The French Revolution - too long ago Napoleon- too long ago Wine- not a fan Cheese- just give me some regular cheese, thanks. The Automobile- didn't the Germans invent the internal combustion engine? Champagne- this is a good point Zidane- he doesn't count anymore Cannes Film Festival- I don't follow it but this is also a good point le Tour de France- already mentioned FIFA (lol)- that's a bad thing! Cinema- French cinema isn't that good.
  10. Please, the only special thing about France is their years of cycling pedigree. Which today, unfortunately, isn't worth a lot. That and producing a lot of good Premiership footballers.
  11. I get what you mean, but he went through an entire season unbeaten in the league, how much better can it get? Sure, Arsenal fans would have swapped a few defeats that season in exchange for a couple more trophies but its an unique achievement that'll likely not be equalled for quite a while. Red Star Belgrade (sorry Sh0n3x ) could have won 3 or 4 in a row had it not been for their country splitting apart. The Busby Babes could have won one, as well. Perhaps even Grande Torino could have carried on into the mid 50s and beaten Real Madrid to the first few European Cups.
  12. I think I might be depressed. I've just realised that I'm hating myself again, and that's never a good sign.
  13. And where does that rank him on the completed dribbles list? Even if that is high, that's no definitive indicator of him being a good player. So he might be comfortable with the ball at his feet, that's great, but what about the end product? You can beat all 11 men but if you blast it into row Z there's no real point.
  14. More importantly, how many did he complete?
  15. The home shirt looks a little... feminine. I don't know that many men have hips that shape outward quite so dramatically.
  16. Alternatively, the lot of you could just move to Australia where it's available everywhere
  17. 30 million is a very good deal. We're only losing 20 plus wages, we're not going to get a much better deal than that. It could then be reinvested in a new contract for Sturridge and a new striker. Someone like Cavani; perhaps, or Lewandowski.
