Everyone who comes to Sydney, I would like to recommend Redfern and Kings Cross as the safest places for tourists to stay, they're entirely crime free!- 671 replies

What's the first part?? I'm very happy in Liverpool, tbh. They're not hard to avoid. All you have to do is avoid walking through a couple of streets after about 8 pm. You can even get away with that if you're travelling with a group of about 5.- 671 replies

Emu Plains is wank, apart from the awesome name. Glenfield is Liverpool-lite. Less brothels, less crazy Serbs/Arabs/Lebanese/Pacific Islanders/Vietnamese/Lad gangs, less drugs, less muggings and lower amounts of drive-by shootings. Still enough to irritate, though. Emu Plains is more or less crime free (compared to the hotbed of crime that is South-West Sydney), but it's 60 km from the city. And it's not well equipped with public transport, roads, shops, etc.- 671 replies

ALRIGHT QUEENSLAND, HAVE SOME OF THIS: http://en.wikipedia...._livable_cities World's most livable cities Where's Brisbane? And another list from a different research unit: The 2012 rankings continued thus: Kyoto (11), Fukuoka (12), Hong Kong (13), Paris (14),Singapore (15), Hamburg (16), Honolulu (17), Berlin (18), Vancouver (19), Madrid (20),Barcelona (21), Portland (22), San Francisco (23), Montréal (24) and Geneva (25). Poor Brisbane, not even in the top 25. And yet another list: Sydney top-10's in each, Brisbane's best place finish so far is 36- 671 replies

I compare what I like! I don't know much about rugby but I do know that the Roosters are second only to Manly in terms of most hated sporting team, and that hatred goes beyond just rugby. I'm sure any English team that played the Roosters/Manly would be cheered on. In fact Sydneysiders would probably support the Uruguayan national football team rather than ever support Manly.- 671 replies

Fucks sake, I can't find any images of Jayasuriya opening those forearms of his in one of his trademark drives through the offside. A pull shot doesn't involve quite as much use of the forearm and so it looks a lot smaller than what it really is.- 671 replies

In retrospect, I shouldn't have opened this thread. Spike is the only Queenslander here (though WHS is trying his utmost to be considered one, as well) and KOF and I are the only New South Welshmen. The rest of the ~6000 posters won't know what we're on about- 671 replies

No, Henri hates you and Kalou loves me. Inb4 thread derailment.
-
I see. HENRIque reminds you of Henri. Kalou has been gone for 5 days, Henri has been gone for 60.
-
UNREMARKABLE, DAMN YOU, NOT AVERAGE!!
-
Link or GTFO. Also I was talking to Henri earlier and he said the same about you.
-
Where did my Kalou biography go in the Ex-Blues section?
-
Henri hasn't made a single post all month. Time to get over him Sloth, it's been nearly 2 months since his last post (May the 6th).

That's why I said Sigurdsson 'soon' i.e. next summer. N'Doye It seems I have a fetish for unremarkable West African footballers

It's not about the size of the ego's, it's their willingness to. Players have always had the edge here because they have the ear of someone, possibly even Roman himself, in that gaping chasm, filled with all kinds of shadows, separating the owner from the club. Beyond that, Roman has always trusted them more than his managers, that in itself encourages an environment where it's very easy to undermine someone you don't like. Levy has never encouraged or facilitated his players to get involved with the upstairs running of the club. Tottenham do not have a myriad of shadowy figures that have the owners ear and bridge the gap between club and owner.
