  1. I don't think so. A google search reveals that 'Ahal' is a province in the Turkmen Soviet Socialist Republic. Or Turkmenistan as some prefer.
  2. Hi We have quite a few Italian Napoli fans on here, you'll feel at home
  3. Sorry, I should have made it clear that it was fatigue rather than the change of manager that impacted on Mata I would take transfers out of the equation. We haven't had a manager signing since January 2011, they've all been done by whoever held the role of Technical Director/Director of Football.
  4. The decision to leave out Lampard and possibly Cole weren't vindicated on the pitch, but they had been in poor form before and deserved the axe. Drogba, however, was an awful call. The man was made for European nights.
  5. Schurrle didn't impress at Euro 2012. Just saying.
  6. That's never caused a bad effect! As I said earlier you have to give him credit for the few good things he did, like getting Sturridge to look world class.
  7. Be fair, he achieved a couple of good things in his time. For example he got Sturridge and Mata to play brilliantly, both fell away (in Sturridge's case, dramatically) under Di Matteo.
  8. Comfortably United's best kit.
  9. Congratulations! You called him Didier? Brilliant
  10. Yeah, the future is not bright for the Socceroos, our next generation are fairly shit compared to their predecessors. We've had a great era from 1992 to today, we could have made 3 or 4 World Cups had it not been for Diego Maradona's Argentina knocking us out in 1993 and that farcical match in 1997 where we lost to Iran. 2002 we put a good effort in against Uruguay but they had too much for us in the end. And a reminder on what happened in Sydney in 2005...: The squad that failed to make the '98 World Cup remains, in my opinion, the best Australian side of all time. We could have done something major in France, perhaps even gotten into the quarter finals.
  11. It's true that in the latter part of his reign the team were horrific, but still, Di Matteo couldn't have won two trophies if AVB didn't manage to keep us in them.
  12. Well if it weren't for him we might not have even made it out of the group stage, so he does deserve some credit.
  13. He should, as his game isn't dependent on speed/strength, which are usually the first things that leave a player when he reaches his early 30s.
  14. Who is better and available at a reasonable price? John Michael Nchekwube Obinna is a good DM and will improve, he's only 24-25.
  15. Haha you shouldn't go to England, they're having a lot of problems with jobs. Come to Australia, the only developed country that is still growing . And you don't have to pay anything here to watch Serie A! Also, what is it like living in Napoli when you have Monte Vesuvio so nearby? It's still an active volcano, I would be scared to live near something like that!
  16. carefree88 said it up the page. Stop the presses. Rio Ferdinand is a massive wanker. That's been known since he skipped that drug test... doping cunt.
  17. I don't think court proceedings are allowed to be televised, let alone streamed online.
  18. Not as such. Voodoo man (no racial connotations intended) Emenalo does all that stuff.
  19. Torres is only the starter because David Villa's done his leg. He's never had a great record with Spain when compared with his club record.
  20. My goodness That's poor self control. Bastian has this to go home to every night and you won't find him... happy like that.
  21. No, I'm just surprised that Sloth could come to such a decision
  22. Why isn't this in Matthew Harding Stand, btw?
