  1. That's better than us. We're 0 for 6 in the clean sheet department. It's nearly been a month since our last cleanie.
  2. Beating them isn't the problem. It's making sure Gomez doesn't score so I don't look like an idiot that's the big deal. I don't care if we lose 11-0 as long as Gomez doesn't score.
  3. I shall put them back on with another statistic: We are unbeaten all season when Kalou has played. P 24 W 16 D 8 L 0 Invincible And to trump Gomez's one season where goal = win: Bitch please. Salomon Kalou since 2006: 60 goals, 57 wins, 1 draw, 2 losses. We're a one man team
  4. To take off my heavily biased glasses for a moment, he has been a passenger in some of the games and not done much. In others his work rate and the odd superb pass has justified his inclusion. I don't think he should play more than 30 games a season. Of the 14 he was probably good in about 7-8 of the games and only in the team for the other 6 because there wasn't anybody else.
  5. Alex, why don't you use this? On another note, it would be magnificent if we could deny them the CL this year. Magnificent.
  6. AVB would destroy his career if he accepted this job. No one wants a guy who did a poor job at one big club then turned around and relegated another within a few months.
  7. Of course not. They were in League One in 1998, I think they got up to the Premiership in 2002. Obviously they had fairly rubbish players until Thaksin bought them out, and he went about changing that. Hart can be compared to Lampard, as he's been there 6 years now, Lampard had 'only' been here 3 years when we first won the PL. Richards came through the academy so he can be compared to Terry in terms of spending ages at the club. There are no Gudjohnsen, Gallas like figures who have been at the club several years prior to the takeover. Perhaps Zabaleta.
  8. RE: Predator's stat that Bayern never lose when Gomez scores: Since Roberto Di Matteo took over, we are undefeated whenever Kalou plays, be it off the bench (wins on 4 occasions and a draw once) or starting (7 wins and 2 draws).
  9. Villas-Boas couldn't implement his philosophy with us. Can you imagine him even trying with Henderson, Downing, Adam, Gerrard etc? And not to mention the high line with the wonderfully fast Carragher He'd probably get them relegated.
  10. I'm praying for a pre-match bust up between Robben, Ribery and Lahm. It has happened in the past, hopefully it happens again
  11. Fair point, but as many have said before, the Warrior deal is pretty much the same thing that Man City have with Etihad. Don't the Liverpool owners also control Warrior?
  12. No more, please, my stomach is hurting from laughter
  13. If he can get us up to 3rd next year and win a trophy while he's at it, even if its something minor like the Club World Cup (assuming we win the CL) or the Carling Cup then I think we should give him an extension.
  14. The only way things can get better are if: 1) Martinez gets the job 2) Rafa gets the job and fucks it up. The potential possibilities of both
  15. I hate to be blasphemous, but Christ, are they really going ape over on RAWK. Someone got banned for praising the decision to sack him http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=293625.msg10332065#msg10332065
  16. Damn you LDN! I beat you by a few seconds!
  17. RAWK is on fire at the moment http://www.redandwhi...topic=293625.0
  18. He's off. Now, for Liverpool to bring in utter rubbish like Martinez and put themselves in a permanent downwards spiral
  19. And then we'll be blamed for another rubbish performance from England
  20. Many things, including expecting a warm reception to anti-tribalism on a one-club forum.
  21. Gomez is very vocal on his stance that gay footballers should come out. That's probably why.
