Euro, WC and Olympics are no longer good for football. The European schedule is very demanding then what it used to be, so that when players get to the summer they are either fatigue or carrying some injury. For most clubs is better if their players don't play in it so they can get a rest.

So after all the fuss, all I could really care was about Fellaini. We need this guy to replace Essien. Guy is boss in Everton and boss in Belgium. One great player to have which will cost less then other CM. Not to mention he will feel right at home due to having a lot of Belgium players in our squad. And Kompany not starting, pretty much tells you who is the back bone of this team. Kompany is a beast, and probably the best defender in the world right now. Without Kompany I don't think City would have won their PL either.

Please, please Drogba! That was not just him saying that but me, and I am sure a million of other people. Strangely odd though, when Drogba was going to take that penalty it felt like a slow motion movie. As if everything was being held up in suspense to be release in joy and glory. Kinda like the Torres goal against Barcelona!

Then there is Romeu and Meireles, which is fair to say they will be squad player. And not forgetting Essien, who if stay will also be just that unless he can get back in form..... Last on defense. With Bosingwa leaving, are we letting go of Paulo as well? And if so we will rely only on Ivan as our only RB? What about CB? Is Terry good enough to continue to be a starter when you got David Luiz and Cahill?

You know after Chelsea won the CL I was more relieve then happy? I was happy no doubt about it, but it was more a sense of relieve that was happening for me. Because Chelsea was going back to the CL, Chelsea had finally broke their duck in Europe, and Chelsea will get honors from future players wanting to join. And so far it is as expected. Roman spending money again cause he got his passion back again after winning the CL, and Chelsea being the center of envy once more. Ah the old good days are back...we got no Mourinho this time, but I think RDM or Pep can do as well a good job with this team!

Wow, how things change so fast in a matter of month! I remember talking about the same with some friends on Facebook about this. And then Chelsea win UCL, and boom, Chelsea is the hot commodity again! Well your reasoning is base on having good players. Mourinho had good players in his team. Pep had good players in his team. So if he comes to Chelsea with a team full of stars like Hazard, Hulk, Modric, Mata, Torres and much more, it will be the same thing. The difference is that I like the style Pep implements. Not to mention he got a lot of youth playing as a lot of poster here point to as a plus.

So your reasoning is that he won cause he got good players? Well don't every top manager has them? Mourinho, SAF, Pep and such?

Because I am a delusional I guess my opinion won't matter much. But taking your logic I will ask, just cause RDM won the CL with Chelsea is he better then Mourinho cause he couldn't win it with Chelsea?

Pep is the ultimate manager for the blue machine. Roman wants to dominate the world with this team and do it in style. And I don't see no other manager doing that then Pep...Mourinho is good, but too controversial. RDM did great but did not showed no spark of creative football during his time with Chelsea. However giving the tough situation in which RDM was, I think he did the smartest thing. Which is what leave us with a conundrum? Do we hire Pep and forget about RDM? Well I think Pep has giving us a great window. With his one year of we can easily wait for him and try to work it out with RDM for one more year. After one year the club should have a better view of what's going on. If RDM is truly capable of implementing a better style? How is he doing with the new recruits? etc etc.

The Malaysia Blues Army, seems like a nice group. If I ever go that region, it will be definitely worth while spending some time with them during a game.
