  1. Well he has a point. Winning the EL should not be a big achievement for the club. That's if we regard our self as a big club. But a swipe at Benitez? Nonsense, he won it with Chelsea. Otherwise he would take a swipe at Chelsea!!!
  2. Sorry but still the same shit to me. I still feel that a player from a top club will do everything they can, to get a good player come to their team. Like with Torres calling Mata many times telling him to come over to Chelsea.
  3. Well it's funny that you say that because I remember some members here saying they hate it when Barcelona players do it to other players from opposing team as it feels like their tapping that player. But our players are doing the same thing....... So the reality is that when you are in a big club the players from that club want their club to get better. As more better players means a better chance of winning trophies.
  4. For crying out loud, Ivan has forgiven him. You should too!
  5. Ivan says he would like Suárez here despite him bitting him? #Respect
  6. True did not thought about that. I thought it was the end of his career cause we have Ake, Chalobah, and the senior players. I still remember one or two games under AVB where he was insanely awesome. If he can get that form back and be consistent then he will be a beast!
  7. Kbd playing twice? Looks like Mourinho found his new untouchable.
  8. Well I believe we are not yet good enough to challenge. I feel it will be a one horse race come March. But that's because of the strikers we got. What we got is Ok, but not a power house to attack On all fronts. If we where to get rooney maybe, but that's a big maybe as we need to see if he adjust to the squad or become another flopes
  9. Yeah I really liked the way the club is going. When AVB came, I truly believe the club and the owner wanted to make it work. That marked the beginning of the change in mindset that the club wanted to take on for the future. However the AVB project did not work and we tried to get Guardiola this year. But he chose Bayern and we had to go back to Mourinho. Normally AVB, and Pep are better candidate for the youth and attractive playing style. But when both of these targets where not able to work or come, then Mourinho merited a great chance of a comeback. As Mourinho said, this is also a project he wants to take as in the past his project where nothing more then a quick fix. Buy these top players and compete right away. But this time it appear the club and the manager are in the same boat..... I just hope that come November (our usual time where we fall apart) we won't have a knee jerk reaction and start spending like crazy or sacking people......
  10. For some guys it was. Those that swore that Cavani was as good as done, and all this stuff. That type of people today are frustrated and such cause we did not get our men. But in the end after all that suppose being "linked" with this player he end up going somewhere else.... Really it's funny that these people have not noticed that as of late Chelsea business has been swift and quiet. All this paper headline looks like a thing of the past for this club.
  11. Well some members where right, just like Hulk saga.
  12. Dude you realize all this you are saying is nothing but politics right? My only point is prior to Roman Chelsea was shit international level. I had no clue who the hell they where more then a decade ago, as I will assume like the majority here. Big money came and transform this club, just like it did with City and PSG. Anything else is politics that I will not get into.
  13. Good read on Romeu: http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/pitchside-europe/why-chelsea-might-just-miss-oriol-romeu-140205023.html
  14. Thanks for being part of the club for a while. Hope all the best for him, and if in case he turns out to be world class, let's hope the club inserted a buy back clause.
  15. Seriously, when I see more and more of KDB and his friends I just keep thinking about this movie: Malibu's Most Wanted.
  16. Oh that was you? I was wondering if that was you as your style of writing was similar. I guess you just shorten your name to just Tomo, nice. Yeah that was fun to see that, as well with "King" Kenny. Now with the David Moyes thing, people think that we are back in the early 90's where clubs and fans are going to be patient with you. The environment that where Ferguson once entered is totally different today. In today's world because all these clubs have big sponsorship and big money controlling the game, the pressure to do good is big. You can't go two or three seasons with out doing much of anything and think everything is cool. Especially when you are talking about Manchester United. It is one of the biggest brand in the world of football. It was not so when Ferguson enter, so that a lone also heaps more pressure on Moyes. I think this first year the club will cut Moyes some slack. But don't expect him to get many years of failure like Ferguson got when he came to United.
  17. Yeah what he said. :-) There was this guy named Tomo something that always used to say that just because they did good in a smaller team does not equate to big success in a bigger team. Examples like Hodgson from fulham to Liverpool. Big Sam to rovers. Mark Hughes to City and such more.
  18. Well he's a shadow of his former self. I think he would want to feel as pivotal for a team then some other guy like in Barcelona.
  19. Well when you spend big money on shit players like torres and kaka, of course someone like Falcao and cavani will command similar figures.Cause if a player of that caliber is valued at this price then why not theirs? They can argue that the suarez, cavani and Falcao of this world have a similar value to that of this players that was sold so and so. And every couple of years prices continue to creep up.
  20. It is the same. We where going to go bankrupt. And with out his money these fans and heck this site would not have existed. Big money put Chelsea on the world elite as it did for City, and is doing for psg. It doesn't matter our previous situation because before roman no one knew shit about Chelsea in North and south America.
  21. Can't hate on him as no one from England and Spain wanted to meet Napoli demand. But also teams like us city and Madrid have created this environment for paying big for players. So not the players fault here. Too much money put on his head from his club.
  22. My espn alert just said that united submit a bid for fabregas. Like 30 something millions
  23. Is it me or does it feel that the United job is overwhelming him? I know it's too soon, but a top coach would do better than that.
  24. True, I will say you have a point. But what's funny is that like the first season of Torres here at Chelsea I used to hear those same excuses. Just that Torres had a worst record then Crespo....... Always heard how he was a nice guy, he comes from Liverpool a smaller city. Hard to adjust at first and all that shenanigans.
