  1. The thing is I still think we will get bully by bigger aggressive teams. Ramires did great the first game of the season and so did Lampard. But Lampard won't be a starter every game, and if Ramires can maintain that form then we might have a chance. But this was one area of our game that sucked last season. We would be totally hopeless against those aggressive side, that when they pressure us people like Mata and Oscar would disappear. They can't take a Yaya Toure on your ass type of action. Ah I miss the old Essien and Maka type of players.
  2. hmmm so it is what I thought City the favorite for the tittles. I will only wait for Chelsea till December to see if we got a chance. As always we start good and then start fading away. No one has been able to survive the November period for quite a long while. Let's see if Mourinho can overcome this period of "Bad Moment" as Carlo used to put it.
  3. Bushman seems like a troll to me. It seems like he is always picking a fight with somebody. Anyways this United guy did not seemed bad to me. Yes he has to put up with shit because he is from United, but I don't think he should leave or we should stop him from commenting. Heck we even had TMO who was a bit more of annoying!
  4. Funny shit. But somehow Arsenal get through the CL. They always do it, I don't know how but they do it. If they fail, I will be partying with Ollie in London!
  5. We can always go a striker less formation with Schurrle. So I think we should wing it this season with what we got. Maybe next season something better might come up. Like happen last season. We got Hazard, and Oscar all in one season as they became available. Sometimes patience pays of.
  6. "A decision is not made in two seconds - you have to listen to the club's ideas. You have to prepare young players from the academy, with the next generation coming through, like Nathaniel Chalobah, who will probably make it into the first-team squad next season. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8876689/jose-mourinho-planning-for-an-extended-stay-at-chelsea Looks like Mourinho rates Chalobah very highly!
  7. Yeah, I'm for once actually excited to see what comes of him this season. Of course if we get Rooney or someone like that, then Torres time might be over.
  8. Thought he was okay. Let's see what happens in the rest of the games.
  9. Good stuff from Mourinho. More attack minded then his first stint. I like it a lot!
  10. Goal line technology is a really great tool to have now for the refs.
  11. Despite the goals for me ramirez has been immense. I will pick him as man of the match if he continues his performance in second half.
  12. AVB really had Tottenham playing good last season. Just like he had us playing good till the players turned on him.
  13. AVB ahead in getting youth in and playing attractive. This is a new model Mourinho will try with Chelsea this time around with not spending big like his past time.
  14. Yup and all because of AVB. Let's hope Mourinho is good enough to stand up to his former pupil. Cause Mourinho trying to do the same as AVB with youth and good playing style but right now AVB is a bit ahead. Going to be awesome the next couple of season. And to be fair I'll be happy if tottenham gets in top 4 and maybe win a trophy. Because the meltdown the arsenal fan will have will be all worth it. :-)
  15. Good points and I agree with majority of it. I still feel that we are not just there in terms of consistency. If comes December we have not fallen apart, which tends to be our usual blip on the road time then I would think yes we can do really good. But other then that, a fa cup, second place and quarter or semis in cl will be a good one for me. And last your real madrid comparison.... Please don't! It was another outlandish project. What we are going by now is something new Mourinho has not really taken, and he acknowledge it. It was a challenge he now was ready to take because of his experience in different countries.
  16. Dortmund had for years Klopp. Not to mention their first CL was a failure. So it was a work in process. United with Ronaldo and Rooney took a couple of years to get to the 2007. Before that Mourinho was better because he bought instant success. So it was a work in process. And now Chelsea are in similar position. It's a work process which is NOT ready to challenge for anything big. This is why for me City continue to be favorites to win the tittle this season, and Bayern or Real Madrid to win the CL.
  17. Good read. Yeah I feel like this is the challenge he has been missing. He won everything with a lot of resources now he wants to try to achieve something similar with less resources and more youth. This will be harder but the rewards will be truly greater. I hope come December, our usual downtrend in performance we don't press the panic button and buy all out expensive players.
  18. Don't be fools and sell him if he wants to go. Don't want disgruntled players like Suarez at the club.
  19. Tottenhem seal capou deal. I'm telling you guys, AVB knows how to buy talent. He is going to get better and better each year.
  20. That seems like a good loan. Before Vitesse where shit, but now they have improved. Although they lost their start striker, Van Ginkel and Kalas. So they might be weaker this season.....
  21. lol at Gary a really great CB. I will say that giving the PL is a bunch of crazy shit and not so much technical players like in la Liga, Cahill looks amazing! But when we need to play those high technical games, David Luiz will suit us better.
  22. If those quotes are real, and not made up by the FA and such then yes that is totally racism.
  23. But that's what I'm saying, you see how the FA is so ridicules? In a real court Terry was innocent. So of course Suarez was going to turn out a loser in the FA eyes. FA make their own crazy rule.
