You say that like Oscar is better by a landslide. Both are good players with fantastic potential, it's not ludicrous to think either player is slightly better than the other.

Maybe Kevin wants assurances that he will play a LOT this coming season, so he keeps his place in the Belgium squad for the WC. That would be the only logical reason for him wanting to be loaned. If we are sticking with the 4-2-3-1, I'd assume de Bruyne would start on the right side of the 3, interchanging with Mata & Hazard. He is better than Oscar, Moses, Marin, and Schurrle.

Only Mata, Hazard, and Luiz. Terry is also very underrated technically. Oscar's first touch is too inconsistent.

Barzagli is better than Chiellini IMO. And Dante has been the best centre half in Europe this year.

Ronaldinho during his first 3 or so years at Barcelona. Best player I've ever seen, and was the catalyst that revived Barcelona at one of their lowest points.

Classy player but he's been playing as the no.10 for the majority of the season.

Giroud is an excellent player, and when he sorts out his finishing he will be one of the most complete forwards in the league. He would be the perfect player for our system.

Thoughts on David Villa leading the line? I know he's been linked with Spurs/Arsenal but if we are to buy a forward, the top quality options are looking increasingly unlikely.

How good can this guy potentially be?

This time last year I was at the English Garden in Munich, outnumbered by Bayern fans 100/1. Everything that could've possibly gone wrong during the day did, and there was a massive sense of over confidence with their fans (and probably rightly so). Best night of my life, no question. Wish I could relive it.

Give him the solid platform and he could do so. He & Hunt have carried a horrible horrible Bremen side week in week out. One of the worst defences I have ever seen.
