Not going to blame him for the second or third goal, they were both a combination of errors, terrible defending, and a quality cross. The first goal however underlined Cech's major weakness in that he can't command his area to save his life. Terry had all the time in the world and all he needed was a little shout or Cech to come and claim it. It's not the first time either his lack of presence, or hesitation in the box has cost us goals.

On par with my expectations. Didn't expect to win the league but be much closer to the top than previous seasons.

Hopefully you are right, but we'll see. Swansea away was the only game I predicted we'd lose (remaining games before Spurs at home). Villa have already screwed that up.

Few Everton fans I know have been saying he hasn't really improved since the start of the season. To quickly summarise what they've said: - Frustrating in most games but will look good on MOTD because he's scored - Doesn't really fit into their system unless they play direct - Always trying to play for himself. ie not making clever runs or positioning himself that will create space for his teammates. - Often not involved in their build up, and is inconsistent on the ball when he gets it However they can't stress enough that he's only 20, can improve and be really good in the RIGHT system. Is our system the right system for Romelu though? That and his flaws make me a bit worried about his future here. You can say he's only young and will improve, but how often do you see a young player develop dramatically in terms of footballing intelligence and technical ability?

Not a huge fan of whoscored but saw this the other day: Willian will always be the player that is vital in our build up but not the player that will be supplying the goal scoring chances while Hazard is in the team.
