Our future captain should be someone who is prepared to run up face to face to every single player during the course of the game and tell them to sort themselves out when playing shit. I do agree with most of what you have said but lets not completley rule out winning with a squad that is ultimately building for the future. We have seen Man U do it since the mid 90's. You can still play with youth in the side but in order to compete with the top sides you need experience that is familiar with the clubs set up. The Lampards, Terry's and Coles of Chelsea should pull our youth through like Giggs, Scholes and others have done so for Man United. Also stability in management and back room staff can push a club a long way, just look at Man U and Everton. Everton more so for their lack of funds proove this theory to be right but our loveable but insane owner just keeps on upsetting the apple cart. Who knows what the future holds for Chelsea but we can all look forward to an unpredictable one.
