Man U over-stack with strikers, we shall over-stack with midfielders. Besides I can't see how anyone would not consider us needing a cental attacking midfielder unnecessary. Mata can't play every game of the season and at the moment when he isn't playing we don't seem to have a player who can step up with the same impact. Mata might be fresh for a long period of the season but with still The F.A Cup, League Cup, Europa League and potentially the Prem all still in with a chance of winning, we need someone else. Hazard doesnt seem to have the same effect centrally as he does on the wings. Though he has great vision and quick feet, he doesn't seem to controll the central area with being in the right place at the right time like Mata does. Oscar clearly needs more time to develop to his surroundings and Piazon is inexperienced. So if buying a player like Isco is the centrally attacking player we are in need of to rotate with Mata then i can't see how it would be a move that any fan would disagree with.

I hate the ACON, soo bloody inconvenient. Moses has played soo well since arriving and doesn't look at all out of place in a Chelsea shirt.

Don't know much about this guy but I do agree that it is quite worrying how different as an attacking force we are without Mata. Somebody needs to step up.

'Mou's preference for Benzema' isn't by mistake. It's because Higuain isn't as clinical as he was once, yea he is a class striker but Benzema delivers in the big games when called upon. Higuain wastes too many chances, you only have to look at RM's season last year to see it happening.

Could say a lot about BA's excellent debut and for the simple fact that he has made a million and one Chelsea fans happy today, I gave him my vote. Having said that today's game belonged to Frank for reaching the 193 goals landmark, the second highest goalscorer in Chelsea history and all from midfield. Legendary status forever more.

Fantastic début BA. It's amazing how much difference a striker can make when they make runs of the shoulders of defenders. I was watching Premier League Years 10/11 last night and it was showing Torres doing the same for Liverpool and he was running at the same pace as he does now, God knows why he doesn't do it any more. Anyway now BA should be our starting striker without a shadow of a doubt for every game possible until the end of the season. If we do then maybe, just maybe we might grab some trophies at the end of the season.

Everybody over analyzing football again. Just give the striker the ball and he should put it in the net weather he takes 10,000 touches or 2. A strikers job is to score, end of, something both Falcao and Lewandowski do very well.

I agree mate. Use to think Higuain was an absolute beast and prayed to the God of Blue to bring him to The Bridge but after watching a fair few of his performances for RM, I was left unimpressed. He isn't as prolific as he was once and does need too many chances to score especially in big games. Having said that though, he is one cool cat and you never know how he could react to a new start at the Champions of Europe (I will refer to us as that for as long as i live). Is there actually any substance to the rumours at all?
