  1. THIS IS A FUCKING DISGRACE. Why is Ba not even warming up??? What the fuck is going on??? I can't mentally cope with what my eyes are seeing here! Absolute Joke!
  2. I've just woken up to see Torres starting??? WTF is this shit. Absolutely unscceptable you fat Spanish cunt!
  3. This game could be called of due to snow. Fingers crossed it doesn't.
  4. Just goes to show what playing every week can do to improve your game. When watching him in a few substitute appearences and in pre-season, Lukaku looked slow, sluggish and had an awful first touch. Now he looks like a completely different player.
  5. I was really against that move. I literally couldn't believe it when I saw that we had let him go to Madrid. A lot of people were moaning that he isn't good enough to play here anymore and yes he isn't as good as he once but still a very decent player who knows the DM role like the back of his hand. Letting him go there and not bringing in a proven DM in his place has shown to be a big mistake.
  6. Exactly. Maybe because he actually understands the defensive midfield role better than Rami and Lampard. Mikel doesn't stray to far from the holding position and keeps it simple. How many times did we see Rami lose the ball from dribbling too much against Southampton, it became a running joke. As I said in another thread, Lampard is an attacking central mid not a defensive mid. Never thought I would find myself saying this but Mikel needs to hurry on home.
  7. I must admit, I'm one of the first people to criticise Mikel but it was obvious last night how much we were missing him from the midfield. That's not to say I think he is as good as a lot of people on here make out.
  8. Chelsea need sombody like Lampard? We already have Lampard and he is far from a natural deep lying playmaker. He has an instinct to score goals which means leaving his post and going forward leaving a great big hole in front of our back four. What we need is a player who is tenacious andd hungry to tackle and intercept. Somebody who simply loves to sit in front of the back four, screening them from attacks. Somebody who not only is natural ball winner but also a great contributor of the ball. Yes Lampard has top notch vision and class delivery but he is not a deep lying playmaker by any means. At the moment we have Rami who can't pass to save his life, Mikel who has the ability but just wonders around playing his consistantly average game and Lampard who is playing out his last days at Chelsea anyways. You could mention Luiz but I don't think even he knows what position he is meant to be playing these days, he kind of plays Monkey rush CB.
  9. At last somebody talks a little sense. Yes Rafa as Fulham Broadway has put it, is 'A Spanish cone of fat'. By no means did he get his substitutions neither tactics right last night against Southampton and by no means does he belong here in any way whatsoever. But Let's look at our situation in realistic terms here. We can't and I mean can't sack another manager before the season is up. We are a laughing stock of the footballing world as it stands. To sack a second manager in the same season would just be an absolute disaster for this club. I mean it isn't like we aren't already going through a multi car pile up on the road to mayhem. We need to see this out despite the undeniable fact that Rafa isn't and never will be the right man for the job. Let's at least be honest with ourselves here. After sacking the man who spent the most important years of his professional playing career here and then came home to win us the holy grail, getting a manager of Rafa's credibility in such short notice was suitable. He has steadied what was a horrificly unorganized defence and to start with got a shattered Torres scoring goals. I know the one home win from seven is a disgraceful reality that most of you are finding impossible to accept. I understand that being such a passionate Chelsea fan mysef and I know that we all deep in our heart of hearts feel that we as the Champions of Europe should have stormed the Premiership and all other competitive trophies this season with the new additions to our squad. It just hasn't worked out that way. In my honest opinion I feel that Eden Hazard hasn't quite lived up to the hype tjat surrounded his big money move as of yet and Oscar is still young and quite obviously tired from such a long calender year previous to his move here and we are relying heavily on Mata and now one striker in Ba.Now once again with our backs to the wall we as fans and lovers of our club and the game of football need to stand behind the squad and still believe that this season won't end in complete disaster. Funny enough, we normally play our best when we have our backs to the wall but we must forget about calling for the head of Rafa until the season is finished. P.s. Remind me to never post an essay on my phone again. What a fucking nightmare!
  10. Unfortunately, the drama Jose brings with his management of a team is exactly what we do not need at this club. We are always under great scrutiny by the media and you could say that Jose is the reason for such treatment. He had set the tone for the way this club is to carry on under Romans rule with his 'us against the world' attitude that he brought with him when Roman made his first managerial appointment. You are spot on with your observation of the similarities between the end of Mourinho's rule here and his time now at Real Madrid, both in such turmoil spurred on by a prying media. I think the time for change was evident before last season and slowly but surely the style and depth of the squad has done so but now it is time for change in the way that our club is managed and seen in the eyes of the footballing world.
  11. = He is a big fat spanish her soaking wet cunt! ?? lol
  12. Lol... When I was writing that, I had a feeling you would mention him. What can I say, AVB just didn't cut the mustard. He was destined to be a failure at a club of our stature and a mediocre success at a club the size of Spurs.]
  13. I do agree. I don't want to see Mourinho return because I think it's not always a good idea for somebody who is regarded as a God to come back in case of it going wrong. Like you said it's also a case of this team not being set up for Mourinho's style of tactics. I hope we look in the direction of somebody who has the same hunger Mourinho had when he first arrived here at The Bridge.
  14. I for one can see the logic in not wanting Jose back in case he did flop, tarnishing his reputation here but how can you doubt a one of the greatest managers to have ever graced football because after one dodgy season at Real Madrid. He isn't just up against tactics and team selection, he is up against the world of Spanish football from his own Bosses right through to a notoriously vicious press. Everyone forgets what he achieved last year in a league where arguably the greatest team ever in the form of Barcelona had arguably the greatest player to have ever lived playing out his most prolific calender year yet. Yes the rest of the league is of a very poor standard in comparison to the top two clubs but Jose has everyone on his back over there and he can't fight the mounting pressure he faces successfully for the rest of his career, especially in a team full of egotistical morons such as Madrid.
  15. If true I am not bothered in the slightest. Pep here would only end badly anyway when Roman starts poking his nose in with transfers and selection of the team. If you think Pep or Jose would have put up with this Torres saga then you are wrong.
  16. You call this kicking off... you fairy! ^^^ oh the irony
  17. That's a decent shout. People are probably not interested in Isco now after a mediocre performance against Barca, fickle as some fans are. For me that hasn't altered my desire for him to join us in the slightest. Such a great talent and the prospect of him lining up with the dynamics of Hazard and Mata is mouth watering.
  18. Interesting loan indeed. I was hoping that he would go on loan to West Brom, they seem to develop youth in a speedy and positive manner.
  19. Sixty Years!!! Bloody Nora! What made you quit now? (Well done by the way)
  20. Hahahah don't push me, cos, I'm close, to, the, edge!
  21. To be honest I wasn't sure if I had stressed my opinion too strongly or maybe slightly offensively when regarding my lack of praise for Danny. Thought it would be better to apologise in case that I had because I really enjoy posting on these forums and would be truly gutted if ever banned.
  22. I would like to apologise to TC staff and members for any crude and offensive opinions or language I have used in the past week. I have been very agitated and snappy towards people who have mocked me both in my personal life and on here, maybe down to my first week of giving up smoking. I don't know but there is no excuse for retaliating to certain posts aimed at me in the Daniel Sturridge thread the way that I did.
  23. I'm Batman! http://img717.imageshack.us/img717/3523/19455259.jpg
  24. Yes he did say that PSG is an attractive project and that France is a nice place but no that doesn't mean PSG will be his definite destination next season. Any player with slight evidence of a brain will compliment the spoken club when interviewed. Hardly goig to say France is a terrible place and PSG is an awful club with no future. That would be disrespectful and unprofessional which both, Falcao isn't.
