  1. Dodging this transfer is nearly as satisfying as when we dodged the Hulk transfer.
  2. Yea that's right but I don't think we would have got him on a clear cut transfer. I remember the reports suggesting a loan or a buy back clause in the contract similar to Fabregas because Sergi is held in high asteem amongst the Barca ranks. They wouldn't lose him.. If I remember correctly we were linked to a number of Barca's youth under AVB, most of it just pork pies made up by the media after Roman demanding the Barca style of football and the purchase of young Romeu.
  3. A fantastic decision by EVERYONES opinion.
  4. Everyone wants Lampard to stay because he is a Chelsea Legend who will forever be remembered as the greatest midfielder of the greatest era in Chelsea history. Though I have to agree with LDN Blue, Lampard is too good of a player to see his career out on the bench. He has at least 2 good seasons left in him, maybe more and he should be playing in a side where he will be key and used regularly. I would love for him to stay but I think he will be going in the summer and even though it upsets me I think its in his best interest.
  5. I think it's it fair to say that Luiz is the coolest geeza in football. The way he interacts with people through his head nods and funny facial expressions crack me up everytime. He's not a bad footballer either !
  6. Lol.. yea I was keeping along the lines of the Sergi Theme but Sheva didn't get it. He is a cunt tho, I really can't stand him!
  7. Serigo Busquets is just cunt!
  8. Sergi Roberto looks a fine player, nice to see him playing tonight for Barca.
  9. AVB was that man. He has skill, young with something to proove and I can bet you your bottom dollar he would have had his tie half way around his shoulder, shirt collar undone and he would have been talking with the broken voice of defeat last night.... because he cared. Just look at how that turned out.
  10. Nobody can give us, the fans any criticism for booing Torres whatsoever. We have stuck by him from the very minute he walked into a Chelsea shirt. Through his ridiculous goal droughts and disresepctful statements made after winning the CL and now time is up. Enough is enough. He might be a nice fella and his career endig injuries might not be his fault but if boo's are the only way to send the message to our deluded board that, we don't Torres here anymore, then so be it!
  11. This a serious topic or a thread for where everyone can suck each other off because I thought that was what the Member Of The Month thread was for.....
  12. Tonight was the tale of our season. Fernando Torres. If tonight hasn't benched him for good then I will be a monkeys uncle. Ivanovic had a shocker and tbh it just simply wasn't good enough but everyone has their off days, today was a big one. Ba's goal should have counted too what the fuck that ref was on I'll never know.
  13. I would rather Cavani by preference but I wouldn't turn my nose up at the proposition at bringing Lewandowski to the Bridge!
  14. Then maybe you are right and we should not buy Fellani, fuck Mikel off and buy a DM bread from birth. :blue scalf:
  15. I agree about the Man U game, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. That was a case of trying to win a mental battle over Fergie and his team in light of honesty. Though this cup is normally just a run for us to blood youngsters whilst on the way to winning other things as you put it, we should remember that we are out of the CL and in need of a tiny miracle to catch United up at the top of the PL. With just the F.A. Cup and this left I would rather take both home than one. Yes we need to finish 4th and that is our main priority but in all truth should we have to worry about resting one player when considering 4th position? We are Chelsea, top 3 should be a given.
  16. To say he won't offer any kind of stability in midfield is ludicrous. Just because he has been playing the 'faux-no. 10' role for Everton of recent times doesn't mean he can't play the defensive role and play it to a very high standard. Yes he has played some of his best games for Everton, game changing performances when allowed to roam and dictate the speed of the game but he has all the attributes to play the DM role. As you said, we really need a Pirlo type player who can create from deep with world class vision but a Pirlo type player don't turn as available in every transfer window. As said before Fellani has the perfect build and presence to work alongside Rami or Mikel. I have seen him play the DM role very well for Belgium and Everton also. performances that actually make our DM's look lack lustre.
  17. Fucking cup games we want to win. Do you want silverware this season?
  18. I'm pretty sure SSN were reporting that Metalist set a deadline of today (Wednesday) for a deal to be completed.
  19. I can see Falcao going somewhere else in the summer. This transfer has 'Aguero' written all over it and we will probably end up with the striker who was 4th on our hitlist.
  20. You Sir are the one with a pea brain if you think I don't absolutely worship Roman and what he has done for this club. You are so pro attitude you fail to detect thehint of sarcasm in my original post. Take a chill pill.
  21. I'm more than surprised that Russian club haven't offered him a transfer paying him 500k a week.
  22. He does but look at how he plays for Brazil. He runs the show from deep but advances way too often to be deemed a deep lying playmaker. That's where he is best, in advanced positions.
  23. Whaaat, give him time, don't overreact, let him settle, how dare you! Such things are outlawed here at TalkChelsea
  24. Deep down I feel sorry for Torres. He must think what would have been if he hasd just stayed at Liverpool. Even if his knees were career ending at least he would have left the game as a Legend. Now he will always be remembered by the largely critical population as the biggest flop in transfer history. We all moan and curse his current form because it's holding us back as a club when at the moment we should be top of the prem and still in the CL if we had a prolific goal scorer but nobody deserves the pressure and humiliation Fernando Torres is experiencing.
  25. Ignore that clown xPetr, I can tell by his internet gangster persona he was bullied at school.
