If we compare this with past seasons we aren't that bad. The Problem is that there are teams who play an outstanding season (just in results).

And it is very easy to be pathetic and to throw in some thoughts like they are untouchable. Its quite normal that there are long term targets (like Lukaku) which doesnt depend on the actual manager. But to say he has no influence and that his work is shit is ridiculous. You don't have the oppurtunity to judge him or to say whats going on behind closed doors because you are not involved in the clubs buisness. Possible that you are not totally wrong but even if you are right it is no reason to act as condescending as you do

I didn't want to shorten his success. His work with Porto was tremendous but to be in charge of CFC is an other dimension. AVB needs time to improve and to adapt his philosophy to the EPL. Theoretically his gameplay is one of the best (imo) but he has to learn that every opponent has special characteristics which need to be considered. And to be honest, I am a Fanboy

Rajkos problem is that he is mental blackouts very often. You cant rely on his services because until now he failed to impress for al full game. Bruma hasn't the presence of Rajko but he does his work quite well

I cant remember a game where he showed "a lot more". Sometimes he tried to take part in the build up but the team rarely benefited from that. Maybe he has the potential to raise his offensive abilitys but in my eyes his strength is interrupting the opponents build up and thats what he should focus on mainly. Defenitly more like Mikel than like Schweinsteiger for example

I think he would adapt much quicker to the EPL then De Gea because of his experience in Belgium. There the game is much more physical so he knows how to cope with it. De Gea instead only knew La Liga where the Keepers are very much untouchable..

You are right that there's no difference for the team who plays shit in CF. But for him to evolve as a player he needs to have an impact and to do well. Just imagine the headlines of "the sun" if he fails to shine. We need to give him time. I don't want him to become a new Borini/Di Santo

I don't think that Lukaku would have any impact. This lad is only 18 and needs to learn so much. If the Staff would see the opurtnunity that he succeeds right now the would play him. It's better to not burn his talent than playing him with the knowledge that he is lacking too much in his abilitys. We have 2 (more or less) world class strikers who both have gib problems to adapt to our game so I just can't see Lukaku doin better

After Carlo left i hoped that AVB would be our new manager and even today I would love to be succesfull with him and that we enter a new era at CFC.It would be just fantastic to have him here for many years. But tbh I fear that his appointment was too early for him. You need to be an above average manager to be successfull with Porto but you have to be a worldclass manager to handle Chelsea and the EPL.. I don't want him to be replaced and I think that we have to stick with him but maybe many of us (including me) got their hand turned because of the Mourinho comparisons and the "Fairytale Story" of the returning scout who leads us to glory.

Ridiculous? Its pretty common to count assists and goals together because the outcome of both is the same. One assist is worth exactly one goal. without the assist theres no goal. So its ridiculous to concentrate on his goaldrought.

Sorry but sounds like bullheaded bashing on Torres. You are right that he should have scored more goals but its not fair to talk like he is shit. As I said he is one of our topscorers (only Mata and Lampard are better, Sturridge same as Torres)
