At Chelsea the manager doesn't have a say on transfer targets anyway so it wouldn't matter if he's clueless in the market.
-
Torres Sturridge - Meireles - Ramires Romeu - Essien Bertrand - Terry - Ivanovic- Ferreira Cech Something like this maybe? Not many potential Munich starters in that lineup but still a decent side.

Fucking QPR. Cisse scored in the 90th minute to get them vital 3 points and at the same time West Brom equalized against Bolton in extra time. QPR now at 37 points and look to be clear of relegation unless Bolton win their last game against Stoke. Would love to see those QPR cunts relegated back to the championship.

The amount of goals scored. Tottenham and Arsenal both have more than us at the moment but winning Liverpool would most likely mean we'd have scored more than Spuds.

Arsenal, Spurs and Newcastle all slipping up this weekend complicates things. It gives us a small glimpse of hope of a top4 finish but with Munich coming up the question is do we try to win both of the remaining games with the strongest available team and hope for at least two of the other teams challenging for the CL spots to fuck up next week or do we rest key players for the final? A couple of days ago the answer was clear but now not so much. I would probably still play a weakened side in the league games and if we win them then so be it. Two out of Arsenal, Spurs and Newcastle losing points next weekend isn't very likely and it's not like if we play a slightly weakened team we're certain to lose. Mata, Lamps and Cole have to be rested but even without those players we have decent chance of winning both our games.

A right back is one of the priorities in the summer when Bosingwa (hopefully) leaves on a bosman. Ivanovic is very much the first choice when available so whoever we go for shouldn't be a star player but someone who accepts a backup role and wouldn't be too expensive. Simpson would be good because he's English and we don't have too many homegrown players in the team but I'm not too convinced about his defensive abilities though. Could be even worse than Bosingwa...
-
He was jumping around and hugging the players just like after Napoli and Barcelona matches in the Champions League. Seemed really happy to me.
-
Mata and Torres were right there with the rest of the lads. Lukaku and Romeu were there too but with suits on and they looked kind of lonely and not part of the team.
-
All of our Spanish Blues with the trophy.
-
Please tell me you're joking.
-
They're definitely out of this match but RDM said he's hopeful they'll be back in training next week.
-
Can't even imagine how disgusted I'd be if we lost to Liverpool. Five defeats in a row to that scum would be too much and to see them lifting the Cup would be even worse. My choice for the starting lineup: Drogba Ramires - Mata - Kalou Mikel - Lampard Cole - Terry - Ivanovic - Bosingwa Cech
-
Yes but unfortunately there's no chance of it happening.

Well Essien was bought for 24 million but that was seven years ago. His legs are gone and he's 30 years old this year so we're not going to get much for him if he were sold. Selling Ramires and / or Mikel would be pure madness though but as much as it hurts me to say this I think we're better off selling the Bison this year, even if he goes for cheap.
-
Nah, I don't believe he would cost that much and Real Madrid have a history of selling good players for cheap. Higuain wants to leave because Mourinho isn't playing him enough and judging from that pic they've already accepted his decision to go and respect that. His stats at Real Madrid are very good (91 goals and 31 assists in 160 league games) and he's only 24 years old. Would be an excellent replacement for Drogba if he's available for 20-25m but any more than that would be too expensive for us because a striker isn't the priority this year, unless Torres were to leave too which seems unlikely at the moment.
-
A picture from Real Madrid's title celebrations. Higuain is the only Real Madrid player to have his shirt signed by all the players and staff which immediately launched speculations that he is definitely leaving this summer and that shirt is his final piece of memorabilia from his time at Real. Seems believable to me. Question is now where he'll be heading and for how much?
-
Let's hope he can end his Chelsea career on a high after winning the FA Cup & UCL double. He deserves to win the Champions League at least one time and this is probably his last chance.
-
Difference is that JT came to Chelsea when he was 14 and Pedro was already around 18 years old when Barcelona got him. Comparing both of these guys to Messi isn't right either because Messi has been with Barcelona since he was like 10 years old.

Champions League Final 2012 - Chelsea 1 (4)-(3) 1 Bayern Munich

Calling for Drogba to play at right-back before even considering to play Ferreira isn't disrespecting? I disagree. -

Good old Paulo has played seven times this season and I think it's unfair to the lad to criticize him because not once in those games has he let us down. Much more solid RB than Bosingwa and that's a fact. Also he's been a loyal servant to Chelsea for eight seasons now so show some fucking respect to the man. -

Damn, I was hoping we'd get to see Drogba against Tymoschuk. -
Is it Time to Start Drogba and Torres Together?
Jype replied to Justin_3d's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I think it's worth a try in one of the remaining league matches. Ramires could provide width on the right like he did under AVB when he played as a central midfielder and Torres drifts out to the flanks anyway when he plays up front so who knows, it could work. Only problem is if it does indeed work and then we wouldn't have Ramires for the CL final. -
His price can't go any higher than the release clause in his contract and Athletic have said before they're not willing to settle for anything less than that. The clause is said to be somewhere between £21m and £29m. I don't believe he will make it to the Euros though. Spain have so many great players in their squad already and some have to be dropped.

I've watched Napoli regularly for a couple of years now and Lavezzi is their best player in almost every match and he's just as important to Napoli as Juan Mata is to Chelsea. If you ask me Lavezzi is probably one of the most underrated players in the world and Cavani usually gets all the credit because he scores a lot of goals but the truth is Cavani wouldn't do shit if it wasn't for Lavezzi. If he's available for less than 30 mil I say we go for him.

Hazard -> Man City Hulk -> PSG Kagawa -> United Lavezzi -> Chelsea I wouldn't complain if this happened.
