I am already a bit drunk. Is this bad?

Tomorrow by this time I think I will be very drunk, either from celebrating a historical Champions League win or drowning my sorrows. Let's hope it's going to be the first one. Believe!

My thoughts exactly. In Italy they have already realized the potential in this and they've started playing the Supercoppa Italiana (their counterpart for the Community Shield) in China and if memory serves me right they once played the match in the USA.

Put in a cheeky bet at 6/1 on Capello being the next boss after growing rumors of him being Roman's choice should we lose the final tomorrow. Don't really want him but if he's to be chosen then I'll at least make some money out of it.

Anything to get the club some extra money is good so there's really not a lot that can go wrong with deals like this.

Same here. This may even be the biggest game in the history of Chelsea FC and losing this would hurt even more than 2008. At least then we had CL qualification in the bag and everything but losing on Saturday could radically affect the next few seasons of our club.

How about Alex McLeish? And why would AVB even want to go to Liverpool? They don't have players who are suitable for his tactics and when he was with Chelsea we saw his incapability to adapt to different styles of football. I'm sure he isn't stupid enough to make the same mistake twice in less than a year.

Was already looking forward to seeing the Queen continue destroying Liverpool again next season so I'm disappointed by the decision to let him go.

My fellow countryman Sami Hyypiä is now the manager of Bayer Leverkusen. He was previously an interim coach like our RDM but has now been given the job on a three year contract. Will be wishing him all the best in his managerial career wherever he goes as long as it's not Liverpool where he played for ten years.

Kalou's contract is expiring so no money to us if he leaves. And why on earth would Meireles, a player in his prime, want to leave to Anzhi? PSG or some club in Italy / Spain would sound more believable but we'll just have to wait and see.

Nah, haven't seen enough to know about his stamina. The physical aspect I consider to be irrelevant anyway because the last couple of seasons have clearly shown one doesn't have to be a physical player to succeed in the PL if they're talented enough.

Agreed. If we want to get some good money from transfer income we would have to sell some players who might actually be wanted by other clubs. Sturridge and Meireles probably the ones who would get us most money from the players I consider to be expendable. Dead wood players like Malouda won't get us much and we should be happy if someone is willing to pay anything for them and take them off our wage bill.
