@ESPNFC: Magic of the Cup, Pt. 2: Man City try to sub Edin Dzeko off, only to display the wrong number and pull Alvaro Negredo instead! What the fuck, Pellegrini?
-
Send him to Vitesse.

Really don't care about any statistics but yours were clearly wrong so I just pointed that out. Moses' stats were inflated by the fact he was impressive in the minor competitions like Europa League and the League Cup. The PL is and always should be Chelsea's main priority and there Moses was bad, only one league goal and not many assists either. To me that would still be forgiven had he at least looked decent but his all-around play is too inconsistent. He was the same when still at Wigan and is still shit at Liverpool, so I can only make a conclusion that Victor Moses is not a good enough player for a top club. Schürrle apart from the last few appearances has mostly been good. Hasn't had many opportunities on his natural position on the left wing, which is understandable given Hazard's form, and he's also been struggling with his fitness but I have faith in the lad once he's fully settled in. Watched him a lot under Sami Hyypiä's management at Leverkusen and believe me when I tell you that we haven't seen the best of him yet.
-
25 games my ass. He played well over 40 games and in the PL he had only one goal in 23 appearances, Schürrle already has three.

Now where are the people who told me it'd be ridiculous to ask even for £15-17m and that we'd be lucky to get £10m. At the moment £25m seems a bit high but I'm glad the people running the club know what a gem they have on their hands and won't let him go for peanuts even if it didn't work out for him at Chelsea. Like I said earlier, stick a high asking price on him now and sell him if someone still bites but otherwise send him on loan with an option to buy for around £25m. If the club getting him on loan is pleased with him once the season is over, they might just pay up or alternatively he could be sold elsewhere for a good price after the World Cup when his value is potentially at it's highest if he plays well.

Chelsea report loss of £49.4m for the financial year

Remind me again how many standing-related incidents have there been in Germany, let's say for the past 20 years? -
Adebayor continues making AVB look like a cunt

Just announced on Instagram that his wife is pregnant, no surprise given his goal celebration today though. No wonder he's been playing well lately, key to good form on the football pitch is being happy with life in general.
-
Was sad to see him so upset but like the final score clearly showed, it was all for the good of the team and no one should have any complaints. He just doesn't fit Mourinho's system and for everyone's sake it might be best if he's sold when his value is still high.
-
Azpilicueta at RB, Ramires returns and both Mata and Schürrle get their deserved starts. Very happy with the lineup.
-
If he's given the same chances KdB has, I don't see any reason why he wouldn't play a few games at least as a substitute. FA Cup games against lower league opponents or the occasional league match if there's more important games coming up, for example in the Champions League, and the plan is to keep the first teamers fresh.
-
With KdB as good as gone, give this guy the role of the 6th attacking midfielder in the squad. Might get 5 or so appearances in the first team while mostly playing with the U21s which for a lad of 18 would be a great achievement. Or send him to the black hole that is called Vitesse.
-
Haha, guess it can be understood that way too. Anyway, hope he plays.

@setoo9 Bonne Annee 2014 a tous! Feliz año 2014 a Todos! I wish you a happy & healthy new year. Resting for the game but ,YOU, stay safe tonight!! Guess he won't be playing tomorrow then.

Eto'o Hazard - Oscar - Schürrle Ramires - Mikel Cole - Terry - Cahill - Azpilicueta Cech If Eto'o is up for playing another game with so little recovery time in between then give him the start, otherwise play Torres. Hazard in his current form is a no-brainer but for the other two AMs it's a much harder decision. Mata didn't feature at all against Arsenal or Liverpool and only played 70 minutes in the Swansea match so he's fresh but against Southampton's energetic midfield I would much rather play Oscar through the middle and either Willian or Schürrle out wide. Ramires to return after his suspension and he should take his place alongside Mikel. Defense pretty much picks itself with Luiz suspended and Ivanovic picking up a knock against Liverpool.

Loan with an option to buy must have been included in the last will and testament of Sir Alex.
-
Vincent Tan is hilarious. In the summer he'll probably sack the manager (who he hasn't even appointed yet) for failing to win the World Cup.
-
Love the Drogba celebration.
-
Milan at the moment are in a very bad place so they could be desperate too. Can't see any of the other clubs still in the Champioins League having any more use to him than we do.
-
So what, you're saying that for Lucas and Pastore their young age was an advantage and it somehow justified the obscure transfer fees? Look how they turned out for PSG, huge flops the both of them and constantly being rumored to be going out on loan because no one wants to spend any real money to buy them on a permanent deal. That's something that can happen when you buy players who have proven fuck all in their careers.Being young is usually a good thing but if it comes between paying 40m for a youngster or paying the same amount for a 26-year-old who's already proven to be a world class player, I know which one is generally considered to be the better deal. Mata at the age of 26 is worth much more than Mata three years ago or the likes of Pastore or Lucas at any points of their career to this day. Old age only becomes an issue when players near the 30 year mark but if anything, I would say a player's value rises as he grows older and gets closer to his peak.
-
First you should stop comparing him to the likes of Neymar and Bale, it's obvious Mata's not as high profile as those two but in case you didn't notice their prices were on a whole different level than where I'm valuing Mata at. In a world where players like Lucas Moura, Erik Lamela or even our very own Willian go for over 30 million pounds, it's outrageous to even think Juan Mata should go for a penny less than £35m.
-
He had the marketability to go for £23m when he was still at Valencia and you need only look at his form last season to tell he's a better player now than he was back in 2011. We're talking about a player who's won the World Cup, the European Championship, the Champions League and the Europa League in the last few years, surely he's a very 'marketable' player and the asking price should be around £35-40m if he's sold. A club like PSG can easily afford to pay that.Personally I don't think he will leave in January. Maybe next summer but not in the middle of the season, especially now that De Bruyne looks to be on his way out as well.
-
Still in the Cup after a tight win against an opponent who's done fuck all to his team since August, how's everyone else doing?
-
Absolutely magnificent today, clear man of the match for me. Doesn't matter whether he's at left-back or right-back, this guy is a beast either way. Best £7m the club has spent in a long time.
