Exactly... He came in and delivered a CL already... lets be honest. We are capable of pretty great things under him. What we achieved with what I considered a significantly weaker squad than Liverpool and Man City is impressive. Give him time with an owner who backs him.

Not sure what people have against buying off City, or any other great team if the player is on the bench. With the amount of talent they have, and some other teams, the bench players can be great pieces, or players that haven't gotten a proper chance due to not fitting the current system. Kovacic is a great example of this. I'm sure Salah isn't that good either who was sitting on our bench. KDB too. Why did Liverpool and City ever buy them... Ake is a nice piece. Not sure if he is what puts us over the top, but clearly a capable player and could shine.

I'd rather let go of Pulisic than Werner. Might just be me though.

After what the club has had to deal with, some of you are being a bit ridiculous with how quickly you want things turned on their head. Have patience and wait.
-
Free, and costs can always be recouped even if he does turn out to be average.
-
We let Salah go and he turned into a monster. I get that Pulisic is injured all the time and looks to be hit and miss in front of goal, but it describes Salah early on pretty well as well. Not saying Puli will ever get to that level.
-
Dembele on a free is a no brainer. If he really sucks - you can recoup for a sell fee. He is not that bad to even get to that point. He can be a massive gamechanger with his speed and technique alone coming into a game.
-
More speed and more pressing. Sterling, Dembele, Gnabry, etc are all great options. Someone to hound and track. Game is constantly getting faster, and speed kills. Liverpool have won a PL title and CL largely in part because of how relentless their 3 up top are and how quick they are.

Always glad to see Pep fail. So tired of hearing how they're the best club and he is the best manager. Sure bud, not like anyone else could win equal the amount of trophies with the same bank roll... Ludicrous statements that get proven wrong time and time again.
-
Haaland off to Citeh... Great.
-
So who is buying us? Any updates?
-
I could care less who they support politically. Everyone is allowed their choice there. They seem to have a terrible track record running organisations, hence it is a no from me if possible.
-
Need more fast paced wingers if we get rid of Timo. CHO, Puli are not enough. Get Dembele and two more barn burners to exploit defenses. These rapid guys are ones that can play quick passes too and help breakdown defenses that sit back as well.
-
Hope City bottle it. Can't stand Pep. Overrated muppet with an unlimited bankroll. Most managers would do well.
-
Pace and dynamism is what we need. Traore should have been picked up - as on a better team he would have thrived like he is at Barca. He doesn't need to be perfect. He just needs to have moments. I'd be all for Dembele. Technical and fast. Play Kai in the middle with the options of Dembele, Wener, Puli and CHO all there. That is ideal. Dembele on a free would be no risk. We need a big, technical midfielder as well. That and a fullback who is okay on both sides. Mainly left. Reece James, for as fickle as our fans are week to week is a locked on starter for me.

Great game, great performance, and obviously not the result we wanted. I'm not fussed, since for me, we won that considering the BS method by which OFFSIDE is judged. The part of his body that can score was onside, so it is onside. Regardless, this just points to a bright future going forward. I think still at this point we are a team that can be the best in the world on a given day, but given our lack of experience, we can't carry it for an entire season. Liverpool went through the same thing when Klopp came. Havertz and Pulisic make us dangerous, and Mount really keeps our engine going from an attacking standpoint. As soon as these young guys can become consistent with the performance they put out today, we will be golden. We missed a tonne of chances, but I don't think it is a sign of bad finishing... we just had an off day in front of goal. It happens. We did put the ball in the net a couple times, but some close offsides as well.
-
Just saw this. Don't know how I missed it. Disgusting human. Glad he isn't here anymore.
-
We need a Kante lite. A roamer and disrupter of play. That is ultimately what we are missing at the moment. Another LB would be nice too.
-
This team isn't built to win a title over the course of the season. We are a cup winning team. Kinda like Liverpool back in the day in mid 2000 period. We don't have enough players on this team who you can look to and know what kind of performance you'll get from them every week. Week in, week out. City have it in abundance. Liverpool too.
-
He did, but a dumbass pass will catch anyone out from time to time. I never said he shouldn't get blamed. It should have been first hit out.
-
The pass was shorter than a bees knob. It is a good thing he even got to it.
-
Anyone putting more blame on Mendy over Jorgi on that one needs to check themselves.
-
Jorginho is just a cog. I don't care to hear the "important piece" talk anymore.
-
I think we have been pretty average to start this season, have not got a whole lot of rhythm, have played a whole bunch of tough teams... Yet we are first on the ladder and none of our players are clicking just yet. Can't complain too much if this is the worst we will be all season. Hoping we can get it together and push forward from here.

Best player on the pitch the other day. Looked f*cking incredible.
