Cucu has had a nice second half.
-
Mendy has to be better there as well. Come on.
-
Leicester suck... Sheesh lol. Reece James again doing work. I know RLC turned it over in midfield just before, but been super impressed with him today.
-
Fk. Keeper saved that.
-
I'll say it - we're just plain old boring to watch on top of it all.
-
He can go do that for Italy once they take a 1-0 lead and do nothing but hold leads. Don't want it here.
-
Can someone actually explain what Jorgi does for this team? Honestly want to know. I'm trying to work it out. Because if they need someone to just pass it backwards and "recycle" possession, I'm happy to take his salary and do it.
-
Agree. I'd never want him at wingback. James is an animal. So, so good. I wouldn't be against another RWB so he can rotate between RWB and even midfield. We'd be extremely physical and skilled with both RLC and James driving the ball forward.
-
James is world class. Absolute world class. Lucky to have him.
-
Super impressed by RLC. Bringing the physicality we need in midfield. Fk Jorgi off.
-
James and RLC are our best players.
-
Jorgi is useless. Conor can't make a pass or do much of anything. fk me dead. Jorgi only goes backwards. 15 yards of space in front and he turns around. Fk off.
-
CG and Jorgi need to go. Shouldn't play another game for Chelsea.

That VAR is ridiculous. That is not offside and a clear pen.

I'm seeing a lot of Leao talk heating up... Could be happening.

From all reports, it seems as if TT was not onboard with the Lukaku signing... Raphina, Sterling, Gordon, Auba, Leao, etc... All the forward players we seem to want or got are great at pressing and putting some pressure on. KK, Fofana, Kounde, De Ligt, etc... All defenders who are great at playing the ball out and distributing the ball. Let him build the damn team. He came in and won a CL after half a season of making players fit. He then had a season where we were banned from transfers or contact to other teams to even spend money due to sanctions. You guys are munted if you think anyone could do a better job given the circumstances. He has a pretty clear vision if you look at the players he is trying to get. We clearly need a goalscorer and a DM. We can't get it all sorted in one transfer window unfortunately. I'm guessing the plan is Rice next year. Get a stop gap forward like Auba for this coming season to at least compete, etc. Next year will be the one where we are fully locked and loaded. Only fair to give the man some time to build his team. Try and be a team that wins the cups. We aren't loaded enough atm to be consistent over the course of a season, but we can compete in cups.

He was the worst player on the pitch... But I don't know what to think of it considering he was playing next to the worst player in Jorgi who shouldn't get game time at all. Our midfield gets run over if Kova or Kante aren't playing. We need Rice more than anything. A DM would solve so many of our problems.
-
He is the only one that has impressed for me. Plays direct and drives the ball. Seems our mob is a bit confused by this as they would much rather pass sideways and lose possession. Hopefully he doesn't fall into the easy habits of the rest of the team, and they catch up with him as opposed to him settling into the easy way of things.

Sometimes the reality is you don't get anyone and wait for a good option to come along. There really isn't anyone on the market that is standing out as a must buy to lead the line. I'd rather have a stop gap season where we are a cup team and look to load up if something presents itself over the next season. CF is something we have gotten wrong far too often, so best to take our time and find someone that really fits the team. Tuchel is getting far too much blame on here. Came in for half a season and won the CL. Incredible. Then was managing through a season where a club was in limbo with just being able to get supporters into the stadium let alone worry about transfers, and he doubled down and says he is with Chelsea all the way. The man hasn't even had time to build out the team he wants and he has already taken us all the way. Literally came in and accomplished more than Pep could with no where near the organisation or budget. Y'all are some deadset haters if you see it any other way. Let the man build over the next 2-3 years. Klopp was given the time, so should TT.

What are we going to blame Tuchel for Sterling being offside in the first game, and missing a sitter in the second?
-
Weirdly enough, I get Yaya Toure vibes from his playstyle. He looks lean, but very sturdy, with nice ability to hold the ball and quite technical. Very nice signing for the price.
-
Looks bang on average. I remember when people were trying to say Goetze was some massive wonder kid who would be dominating world football for a while, and that he was better than Hazard... lol. This dude gives me same vibes. Just not the physical threat needed in today's game. Not strong or quick.
-
Christ this forum is just despair based on some rumours you read in one article... Y'all acting as if the world is over.
-
A rotating door of managers every 3 years apparently. Clearly that has done wonders for us building a consistent brand of football and a hardline culture at the club...
-
Tuchel has already achieved more than Pep. All while having a fifth of the budget.
