He has mentioned Chelsea previously. I think if it comes down to us or Arsenal he will choose us. We have at least some history with Italian greats. Arsenal not so much.
-
Leicester fans on reddit are saying they’re losing their best player. So… don’t know what kind of praise you’re expecting. He isn’t Messi. But he is undoubtably their best player from the looks.
-
Does he? From what I've seen of him, great on the counter and when running at defenders. I feel like Jackson is the better back to goal player now with hold up.
-
Anyone explain this to me? How are we able to spend so much where as these teams can't? Is it due to us historically having these sums covered? And our outgoings over all these years? And then I assume the wage thing comes into play - because a lot of people are citing that is the reason Villa is on there. Maybe our board is forward thinking and not getting enough credit with this wage reduction stuff?
-
What?? lol. He is 120 million, and when he was talked about here back when he was at La Liga, I was told he wasn't Chelsea quality lol... Especially after a come down season from his initial good season. Now he is some superstar? People here change quicker than seasons. Y'all slighted Jackson when he is in fact younger than Isak, has less experience, and he came in and beat his first season tally in the PL. Yet no one wants to give the guy a shot to improve.
-
KDH is exactly the type of signing we need. Guys that can slot in and have a bit of experience. If it comes at the likes of Fofana and Casadei, all the better. They weren't ever going to make it here. They're adding decent "experience" signings. Guys who know how to steady ships. A good LW/SS and a starting calibre CB would be enough business IMO.

Hutchinson is gone. Sell on clause is what is needed. Buy backs rarely get exercised anyway.
-
Some Ipswich players were on Omari’s Instagram saying don’t be late for training on Monday… Must be close to done?
-
Hall to Brighton looks about done. Swap deal.
-
Looks a player. 50 mil seems a lot though.
-
Now people want Isak. lol… Can’t make this shit up. Was told he wasn’t good enough here before going to Newcastle because he had a poor season prior to joining. Now we all think he is the bees knees.

All I'm reading about this Guiu kid is how good he is from Barca fans... Saying they are losing a gem if he leaves and that Barca are a disgrace for letting him leave. I don't see the talent they do, but I've only seen brief Youtube glimpses. Anyone done more of a deep dive?
-
Chukwa is underrated on here. If he is fit and healthy, provides some good stuff for us. Think he will be a gem.
-
David for less than 30 mil. That’s just good business from an asymmetric risk perspective. You get someone who banged in more goals than Osimhen over the last 4 years, doesn’t get injured and is younger. Not to mention I’ve found the French league translates better to EPL than Italian recently. Oh and he’s a quarter of the price. What am I missing?
-
David or Duran are both a great option. Its hilarious seeing people bitch and moan on here. Take a look at all the signings over the years that we praise the most, and even do now - and its the ones no one here had heard of prior to coming.
-
I guess there is only one way to say this - most of you on here are a bunch of sad pansies. Booohooo a player didn't choose us, so now we are a small club and none of them want to come here because we don't have champions league. We aren't turning into a feeder club. We have Paez and Estevao who chose us. We have Enzo Fernandez who chose us - one of the best young players in the world coming off a world cup win. We had Caceido reject Liverpool for us specifically. Lavia? Us over Liverpool. Not every player in the world is always going to choose us, just like they didn't when we were at the peak of our powers.
-
Average players can be MOTM.
-
Nico Williams. Player with a loose carry, poor vision and passing who likes to flick ball past his opponents and run onto it. Nooooo thanks.
-
Nico Williams average as fuck. Olise and Duran is perfect.
-
Our squad now are maturing and growing together. And in turn the players coming in will be understudies and learn. And we will play a particular way and players can just slot in. Takes a while to get up and running but when it does you have players slot in seamlessly like Liverpool and City have had when young guys step in during points of injury. These guys had a rocky start with the Dodgers too and have been super successful since.
-
In what way? Getting Olise, Duran and Tosin is all good business while getting rid of Ian. If we can sell off Lukaku and Sterling as well, while maybe getting in another piece ready to play now - it would be a good, astute window. We would have Palmer, Olise and Nkunku up front with an improving Jackson. That is a potent, high scoring front 4. Duran has mega potential IMO. Caceido, Enzo, Gallagher and Lavia are a good, improving midfield. Aside from LB, I’d like to see one more CB and it would be a great window. I don’t even know if LB is that pressing considering Colwill or Cucu can start there in Enzos system. Especially if Gusto or James are on the right it gives flexibility for Colwill to be on the left. We came 6th last year with 3 of our 5 best players not really playing.
-
I’d pick up the phone and put a 2 million bid in for Oblak and Griezmann combined after that bullshit.
-
Duran is a proper baller. He has a left foot shot that can break through parked buses.
-
Olise is ideal for us. Works hard defensively, great set piece taker, decent at long shots and has some great vision to break down lower blocks. I'd be bummed if we missed him.
-
His season was very promising for his age. Literally watched highlights yesterday of our goals and didn't realise how many times he turned a player or had a significant carry before passing it off to someone who then assisted. He really doesn't get the shine for all the good stuff he did. Could he finish better? Yes. Needs to be more decisive. But he keeps putting himself in good positions. Its a numbers game. I'm far more happy with a striker that keeps creating chances for himself and finishes 50% than the one that makes 1 a game and finishes 90%.
