Mou doesn't know how to attack... There is no excuse for not being able to score a goal against the likes of the team we played. You have Costa, Hazard, Fabregas and Willian... These are players that were lauded by other teams and their fans, and he can't provide a system where any of their talents can be used. It is blatantly obvious it isn't our attacking player that are the problem, but the coach. The defense could do with some beefing up in terms of new players, but we need a coach who knows how to set up an offence.
-
The quicker Mou goes, the higher the chance Eden stays and gets back to form. That is probably the most important thing right now.
-
Hopefully Pep starts having a rough time in Bayern.

Don't worry! Luck will change guys! Just stick it out! We're so close to a breakthrough! Trust in Jose! On a serious note, there can't be any way he is actually the manager next game, can there?
-
Our luck would be him gone after this game. I'm a realest. Some things just don't fix themselves, and this is one of those cases. We've seen it time and time again, and better to do something now, than cause a real situation like say Dortmund, when the players weren't responding, and barely hold on to the top league. The fact is, this team can win a title. That is proven. Hence, we need someone who can help us steer towards that direction. Jose isn't that guy anymore. Yeah, I know I'm "moaning", but it is what it is. And 3-1 now. The players don't respond to Jose. He is done at Chelsea.
-
Nothing unlucky about it. They look dangerous, and we don't. We don't have a clue offensively, they actually look to build through decent play.
-
Willian has been great. Hopefully he can keep this form once the rest of the team finds their feet; if we ever do.
-
Created absolutely nothing this game. Would have been another 0-0 draw had it not been for two gifts. We have literally done nothing. At this point I'd rather see improvement than "tangible" points on the board.
-
I thought Costa was quite good. One of our few decent players out there along with Azpi. Fabregas needs to be sold to a championship side on the other hand.
-
Take off Cesc and Ramires for Hazard and Matic, and we might actually pull this off.
-
Only way we'll score. Off a gift. Still unimpressed.
-
Cesc is clearly the good choice there over Matic.

I was overly harsh after the Crystal Palace game, and fumed and ranted how I wanted everyone gone, but that is hardly the case after realizing what this season is going to be. Clearly we won't be winning much of anything this time around, but a good balance, and turnaround into playing good football would be good. I think Mou thought he had a little something when he put Matic on the bench, but clearly, he isn't the problem. Fabs has to be dropped, or used as a sub. He is a good player, but Matic is constantly doing the job of two men, and clearly he has broken down doing that. The guy is a workhorse, but he can't keep it up for two seasons. He was a match winner constantly through last season just by working harder than anyone else. Get him a decent supporting partner like RLC down there and I honestly think that whole backline gets a lot more security and comfort knowing two absolute beasts are infront of them keeping the line safe. Plus Matic doesn't get enough credit for how good he is with the ball. People constantly slate him for taking his time, but more often than not, he is harassed by two players at a time. Hopefully Iva is dropped, Hazard hits some form, and Fabs is used mostly as a sub throughout the season. Someone more dynamic is needed next to Matic, and it isn't Fab. If he wants to play, it should be further up the park where his lack of defending isn't as vital to the game. For as good a "player manager" Mou is, this season it is slipping away from him. We have pieces that can allow us to win the premier league. In my eyes, talent wise, we are probably 3rd behind City and United, but we have a better manager than both. We can't compete in Europe with this team, but we can do some work. Baba and RLC need to start for me. Kennedy should be getting game time whenever we can give it to him too.
-
I'm not even sure what I want at this point. When Mou came back, I thought he'd be the long term option, and stay here forever... He has immense powers with players in terms of signings and getting the players he wants to the club (Yes, I realize we hardly got anyone this off season). It is hard to completely deduce what is going wrong at the moment. Like most, I thought we were already poor the second half of the season when we won last years title, but I guess winning was a habit at that point and the players just knew what they were doing. Is it poor coaching, or are the players not good enough any more? I hardly doubt it is the players. We have a squad with the names Hazard, Matic, Costa, Azpi, etc. All names that would start just about anywhere in the world. All guys who are top 5 at their position in the world at the very least. It has to be the coaching, right? This team just doesn't play efficient or optimising football given what we have... Why are we so low in the pitch defending half the time? When it rains, it pours I guess. I have no idea what is up anymore.

Just about dead on with the description.
-
Not even close. He is too well rounded to drop off that substantially. Has pace, dribbling ability, good instinct on goal, etc. He isn't a player that fails simply due to his natural gifts alone.
-
He is, and comfortably. Look at last game just for reference. When the game was there for them, it was Toure constantly leading the charge back. He had like 5 shots on goal with the score 2-1, and you could almost say he was unlucky not to get a damn hattrick. I'm not even sure how they lost their last game given the game he had.
-
Hilarious people said he was lazy and would be no good here. Been the best player in the league so far for me.
-
I didn't watch the match as soon as I saw Ivanovic and Cesc were starting. How did we actually play?
-
Did you seriously just type this? You know nothing about football.
-
His manager also keeps Ivanovic on the pitch, as well as Cesc when they are the ones costing us games.
-
I can't believe people are blaming the likes of Hazard and Matic in this current crop of bad form. Are we watching the same games? I've never seen Hazard play deeper than he has in these first 4 games. Want to know the reason? Cesc... Can't hold onto the ball, make a pass, or put in a tackle. Dude looks spent out there trying to win the ball back half the time, then he is having to come all the way back to help get the ball forward, which wouldn't be a problem if Cesc could do his job. He is still the one drawing all the defenders and opening the games up for us. He is still the one that is making plays happen when we need it, but simply hasn't finished them this time around. We need to sort out our right side (Cesc and Ivanovic) and the rest of the game will flow a lot nicer. No point blaming everyone when some players are trying to do the job of two players, which is the case for both Matic and Hazard. In Matic's case, it is probably more, since he was already doing the job of two players prior to the drop in form from everyone.

As bad as we have been, what is happening at United seems like it will stick around for a long time. They look so unconvincing and disjointed for the majority of games, and are generally outplayed by far less talented sides. I think a lot has to do with the fact that LVG is past it, and truly isn't all he is cracked up to me now. On the other hand, as angry as I was last night (lol, and I was), I truly believe our problems are easily fixable, unlike United. They seem to be stuck in that rut that we were in kinda after the UCL win, but they seem to just be floating and almost given into the fact that they are just kinda there. On another note, I've never seen a hold up player as good as Gomis. He is garbage at just about everything else on the field, but he turns his back to you and you can't get that damn ball.
-
This is something I posted earlier, in the middle of last season... This couldn't be any further from the truth right now. He is one of the worst RB in the league. I'm not even sure if he is a RB anymore, seeing as he is hardly ever in position, and when he is, he isn't making any tackles like a back should. I sit here and yearn for the day Azpi is allowed to play on his natural wing, so he can cross the ball, and we, as a team can actually have crosses reach the box, and possibly our players heads. Ivanovic at the best of times was an average crosser. If the Balon D'or was won off how many times you can hit the defender in the thigh when trying to cross, Ivanovic would be a runaway winner every year the last 4 years. I say this as he is one of my favourite players, ever at our club... He needs to go. Azpi is our brick wall on defense. Iva has completely lost it. Thanks for everything, but lead from the bench. I'm sure you're a great presence in the locker room, and maybe that is where it should stay.

That elastico he did was nuts. I was fuming and damn near yelling at the TV, and that, amongst all my anger in the game made me let out a girly squeal of delight.
