I was talking about the fact we're behind them in term of having a system that can adequately press/ and counter press teams effectively. Not entirely on a footballing scale. Edit: I know we're not in a good place right now, but not that bad.

In what universe? We're light years behind Bayer Leverkusen, Atletico Madrid, and even Tottenham/Liverpool But yes, over the next couple of transfer windows, if we fill our squad with more dynamic/athletic players, maybe we'll catch up to modern football soon enough.

Apparently this kid is the truth. The People who watch this kid on twitter swear by him. Just tuned into the match. Hopefully our interest in him is real and snap him up before a team like Barcelona come knocking.

Imagine he played with a Mkhitaryan, or Alexis Sanchez, or a Mahrez. I know this point has been beaten to death, but the attacking talent Hazard is surrounded with, is West Ham quality levels. Man needs to be playing with the likes of Isco and Griezmann.

United had spent 500M Euros on players since SAF retired, and they were no threat to win the PL title. The PL titles will most likely be in Manchester for the next 3/4 years. The board have got their work cut out for them.

Anybody here boutta watch this Trophee des Champions match of PSG vs O Lyon? Gonna be interesting the ideas Unai Emery has for this PSG squad. But unless they sign a top Striker that can compete with Cavani, there's only so far you can go with Cavani as your lead striker (as regards to the Champions League). And as for Lyon, I think if they keep everybody, they can at least close the gap on PSG and we may see a title race comparable to the one of two seasons ago.

I hate stadium with that olympic like track around the pitch. But didn't the town force them to make the stadium multi-functional so that they'd pay for it? Or did their architects really think that would be a good stylistic choice?

I can link another tweet I seen yesterday saying, Zidane wants to keep Isco. Who knows what the 'real' reason is he's available, but if a big offer comes through, Perez will most likely weild the axe on Isco.

Exactly. If Real Madrid can have Pepe. Ramos. and Varane, why can't Chelsea? If Bayern Munich can have 3 starting XI's that could all finish in the Top 2 of the Bundesliga on their own, why can't Chelsea amass some depth? I used to always believe that Clubs couldn't build large squads of 22 players, but what I've witnessed at Bayern, where every World Class player and their mother signs for them has thrown that notion out the window.

Couldn't catch the game... But Chelsea Twitter was praising him again. Lots of people saying Chalobah-- Kante in Midfield was a complete 180 from what was happening before. How well did he play? Would be amazing if he forced Conte to play him, and displaced Matic.
