So happy for him man.. Always root for players that bloom late in their career. Nearly single handedly carried Marsielle to a UCL spot two seasons ago..
-
We could end our RM once and for all with this guy... But according to reports, Man U and Arsenal are the favorites for him. Just seen ok twitter the Mkhitaryan's sister (who works for Uefa) just started following Arsenal on LinkedIn, and its the only club she follows... make of it, what you will.
-
But isn't Matteo Darmian a Man U player? Would Be impossible to sign him. But yeah all other targets are solid.
-
Yes! Hopefully this is true, big fan of Umtiti.
-
It was two years ago mate. He was on fire at Marsielle and the club baffingly didn't think it would be wise to extend his contract and build the team around him.. This has been an insane two year run for Dimitri Payet.. And we were so close to signing him in the January Transfer window before JM took over, but then targeted Andre Schurrle. What a late bloomer.
-
Thing is though, is Costa happy here? I mean, all the media lead retrospective bans, being in a different country, and Atletico Madrid's trajectory being wayyy higher than Chelsea's as it standa, It's a fair question to ask. If the reports are true and Diego Simeone really really wants Costa back...I think he may want to "return home". Guess we'll see what happens.
-
I wish.. Lewandowski is bound to move to Real Madrid next summer. You can book It. Just as long as we don't replace Costa with Lukaku.. If we do that, I think I'd enter a very long depression.
-
Didn't know where to put this: What a guy. Hopefully Drogba and John Terry are working at Chelsea If Crespo ever gets his chance.
-
According to reports it's looking like our Summer Transfer Window likely Ins are.. One of Koulibaly/Stones/Marquinhos... (I hope it happens). One or maybe Two of Nainggolan/Kante/Joao Mario... again, I hope it happens. And Alvaro Morota?? Not sure that'll all realistically happen, as much as I would LOVE it to be true.
-
Exactly. In front of the Italian Media members, he professes his love for Italy and connection to the city of Rome. But in front of the Belgian Media, he has no issues being more open to the media about the "possibilities" of maybe just maybe saying yes to Chelsea, and working with Conte/Hazard/Courtois.
-
Unfortunately, Fabinho is already nailed on for Atletico Madrid. It's about time they replaced Juanfran. And I agree.. if we're looking for Fullbacks LB should be our focus.
-
For the Love of God! That Aubameyang news can't be true, it simply can't.
-
But then who's going to buy Oscar?
-
And with just our luck, Morata to score a hatrick in group stages, and to leave the Euros as the tournament's top goal scorer. I'd go mad, as I'm a huge Morata fan, and at 23, time is his best friend. That being said, I hope he does flop, and puts in forgettable performances at the Euros. As much as He may want the deal to get finished by Monday, that'll never happen in my opinion. Because it's not just Chelsea, Juve and Morata's agent involved, but RM too and their buyback option. Hopefully we can get this deal done regardless of his self impossed deadline, as I'd be over the moon to have him in Chelsea blue.
-
He's nailed on for Juventus mate. Yeah I started wathing extended highlights of him, and he looks a fantastic prospect, but Juve are all over him. Wish he would have gone to Inter Milan tbh

Arsenal Prioritise Henrikh Mkhitaryan Over Riyah Mahrez Wtf has gotten into arsenal this summer? Looks like missing out on the title to Leicester City done woke them up a bit. I'll never view them as title contenders until the day I see them lift the damn trophy again, but it must be said they've been crazy active this summer. Xhaka, Ricardo Rodriguez (all but finalized), and now Vary and Mkhitaryan are their rumoured next targets. Sheesh.. Mkhitaryan would be a perfect fit for Arsenal in that RM role. Hope it doesn't happen.
-
On the official release, the home/away venues will probably be fixed. But yeah that doesn't look right as is. We'll see comr June 15th.

Fixtures List has reportedly been leaked on Twitter. Not gonna link it cause don't want this site to get in trouble. But Follow @ThePLZone on twitter, and voilà! Our first five fixtures in August are as follows. Southampton vs Chelsea Leicester City vs Chelsea Chelsea vs Middlesborough Burnley vs Chelsea Man City vs Chelsea Pretty tough opening 5 fixture tbh.

It's a lost cause pal. They'll blame Emenalo if it rains on a Tuesday when the weather forecast said there'd be clear sunny skies.

IMO yes, and It's just so frustrating because we have so many needs. I'm on the record saying that defense and CM are THE most important areas that need strengthening, but that undoubtedly means that Oscar still remains as our #10 for next season. I understand that we cannot replace 5/6 starters in one transfer window, and your right, we do have other needs. Replacing JT (as he is relegated to a rotation player), and Ivanovic should be the utmost importance. Rudiger doesn't inspire a lot of confidence, so hopefully that doesn't get done, and either Koulibaly or Marquinhos come instead to partner Zouma. As well as a proper LB too. And then in CM we've got another host of issues too, Because we need One Nainggolan is not enough, because another B2B CM is needed too imo. A long journey lies ahead of the board in the transfer window indeed.
-
Frustrating innit? Forget the power 3 clubs in Bayern, Barca, and Real Madrid who have all the top nuclear arms available to mankind. What maddens me beyond anything is how PSG and Man City have just come and surpassed us in the blink of an Eye. Like who the tf want's to go play in that Mickey Mouse league in France, and yet they have amassed a squad that has rightly knocked us out of the last 2 CL campaigns. We've got the money like PSG and City, but have chosen to get all cute and play Moneyball Financial Fair Play. (Yes I know their owners are worth more, but when all 3 are valued at Billions, what really are we arguing here?) Like it really just hit me how well stocked those two clubs are. Because KDB is surrounded by Aguero,Fernandhino, Silva, Sterling and now Gundogan! Ibrahimovic was surrounded by ADM, Lucas, Cavani, Pastore, and Matuidi. Meanwhile, Hazard is surrounded by whom? A bunch of no-names and highly flawed players in Oscar, Willian, Pedro, Costa and Fabregas. And I could live with Costa if he was surrounded by a trio of World-Class Attacking Midfielders behind him, who provided him with the constant service he needs but that simply isn't the case.
-
I don't know much about the guy, but hearing all these mixed, moreso negative comments on his game and it's clear to see Rudiger is a second-rate alternative to Koulibally/Marquinhos. Still keeping the faith we'll make the necessary splash CB signing. Because this Rudiger fellow is NOT inspiring confidence.
-
Jorge Mendes already running MUFC i see. Just sent his client Andre Gomes to Man U to the tune of 40M Euros with additional add ons. Will be an interesting prospect no doubt. We better not be stuck with Oscar come August....I think i'll cry if we don't sign a better playmaker this offseason. In a weird way, I hope Andre Gomes goes to Man U or any team that is NOT Juventus. (because they are heavily linked with him too.) Maybe Allegri and Juve are dumb enough to still table a bid for Oscar if they miss out on Andre.
-
For Transfers? @HLNinEngeland @Sport_Witness @ChelsTransfer Also: @JakeFCohen he's great for all financial/legal aspects regarding Chelsea. Must follow imo.
-
We're getting him. No doubt about that now, after those comments. Only thing is, wish we were in for him 2 seasons ago when he put in a fantastic campaign for Roma and was obviously younger. Will probably only stay around for his initial contract, but that's fine I guess. 4/5 years is a Loooong time in football. I'm not saying that once a player is >30 their career is over, far from that. But I think it's clear to see that the Board are having a hard time investing THAT much (whatever that may be) in a 28y/o.
