I don't get why people here don't want lukaku. I like costa but he said he wanted to leave twice last year. If a player do that unless you are at hazard level, you ship him out.

I am not sure how can you blame chelsea. We have michy and costa in the 1st team. There is also tammy who score tons of goal for Bristol. I am not sure what else to do. Hoepefully he can get enough playing time in pool so he can develop

Are you kidding me ? Of course United has the best season, they got three trophies. Last time I checked 3 > 1. Next season we should just play youth team in the league and UCL so that we can focus on Charity shield, league cup and UEFA cup. Three competition where teams usually try to play either kids/bench player.

Disagree with you here, there is a reason why evra and now dani alves can still contribute for juventus. Serie A is not as hectic in term of pace compare to EPL. There is no way Alves will last playing in EPL.

Agree but are we willing to be "bad" for a couple of season ? Like you said in your post, let's just buy players to upgrade the quality level of our squad first. We may be champion this season but I consider united,city,arsenal, and spurs to have better squad than ours let alone competing with the three european big boys. In the end of the day whether playing back 4/5 our need imo is still the same. Better wingback/fullback and better midfielder. I expect in next season our opponent to have better way to counter our 343. It was a massive problem for most team to handle our "front" 5. In the beginning we were creating chances at will even without fab. Not so much in the end of the season, where we kinda need to grind out chances unless fab is on. This and upgrade for either moses or alonso is the biggest need for next season imo.

But playing a 4 man defence is a big problem for us. David Luiz is going to be a liability playing 4 at the back (his tendency to be out of position is a problem). Alonso will also struggle, he is great going forward but struggle at one on one. It will be tons of changes imo to create a good team with 4 at the back with our current squad.

I hate real because pepe and Ramos. I have never seen defender dive as often and as theatrical as these two players

Ronaldo get all the glory but for me modric is their most important player, MOTM for me today. What a player. I don't envy real for their BBC. I envy real for Kroos and modric

I don't think he is the best but I am not so sure Lukaku and alexis will be much an upgrade. I want a physical presence up top, not alexis. Lukaku is interesing but not sure he is much an upgrade over Costa. I think Lukaku will score more goals but don't think he will score goals when we are not playing well like Costa did a couple times this season.

I don't care about alexis or lukaku. We are pretty settle in term of striker as long as Costa is staying. It is different if he is going to leave. I hope Conte focus on midfield, we desperately need either a creator or a runner in midfield and better wing back. Other than those two position, I think we should be ok for next season

I really like isco. It is a shame that a player in that age with that quality is willing to be a bench player.

It is not because of Mou or Guardiola. IMO coaches does affect player decision but it all come down to the money. The two manchester clubs are by far the richest team in the league and it shows in term of their spending.

So what should he have done ? Play different formation ?? No Press Arsenal against fast player like welbeck ?? No Play Fabregas ? Against ozil and sanchez ? No

The amount of knee jerk reaction from this game is crazy. I don't get why people expect easy game against Arsenal. This Arsenal team is loaded. On the other hand, We all know that our team has a few not good enough starting line up player in our team and we have known it for a long time (moses, Matic, cahil but Cahill had done well this season). People forget beginning of the season, there wasn't much improvement compare to last season until Conte change our system that enable our team to play better that their individual quality. Conte should be blamed for the start not for picking Matic. The players also should be blamed for starting up like they are ready for holiday. But this game was all about Moses making one of the dumbest decision I have very seen

It is more about switching from back 5 to back 4 that causes the goal more than anything

For me starting with Matic make sense. I want fab to play always but not in midfield 2 against strong team. The whole team started badly, that was a problem but we were down only 1-0 in the end of 1st half. Second half, it was all ours until moses. You can see that hazard get the ball in good location and our winger has space to cross. It is just a matter of time and luck and then Moses just decided to ruin everything

I missed half of the 1st half. But the end of 1st half until moses just turn into idiot, we looked fine. I know it was just a matter a time before we equalize. People will complain about David Luiz for the 2nd goal but that simply changing to different formation in the middle of the game. He has played in 3 back system for a while now, normally that ball should be cahill ball.

Moses ruined the game for me. I have full confident that we will equalize, I mean we looked decent enough , his dumb decisions ruined the game

I take spurs/pool/city season over united. We are talking about united here. Not everton not west brom. League cup is a micky mouse cup. Teams play kids in this tournament, but Mou like to play his 1st team. UEFA cup is the same. Ultimately they are not your target for big club.

I don't get how some people say that united has better season than spurs,city or pool. Are we really going to judge team based on league cup (teams play kids in this tournament) and uefa cup ( zlatan salary is maybe more expensive than ajax first 11 combine )

It is a concern. Mou can sign any available player in the world. I'll be surprised if we can outbid united. I said it in the beginning of this season, people who does not rate this united team this season is either united fans or Mou fans. They are loaded, but they have under performed big time and they will spend crazy money again next season.

I don't know. Yes he scored two goals but overall game imo was just ok. Lose few balls, in term of finishing I think he is better than Costa not sure about other aspect though
