  1. I think each player gives us something different, Ivanovic is world class but lets not forget how good Bosingwa is either, remeber how he marked Messi out the game in the Champions League semi final? Remeber his bombing runs forward and his balls into the box and his pace?
  2. I agree with all of you that Ozil and Aguero would be amazing, both very young extremely gifted footballers but i still think we would need to sign one more midfielder liek a Schweinsteiger or Toure.
  3. I agree, he is a very good player, just a bit sluggish imo
  4. Aguero didnt say anything his club president said he thinks he will stay! Some people would liek both players but to be realistic we dont need both players unless someone like Malouda or Kalou leaves which I cant see happening. If we dont sign Aguero this window its not the end of the world (as long as he doesnt leave Atletico Madrid for another club of course) and Silva would be a great addition to our squad for this coming season and maybe Aguero the next season altough hopefully we will get sooner rather than later
  5. Aguero hasnt said anything, this is just their president assuming he wants to stay, for all he knows, Aguero could return from the world cup and tell him he wants to leave for a bigger, bluer club
  6. The new Real Madrid kits are really awesome, i really like the Font they have used for their shirt names and numbers, I know in the EPL all the teams have to wear the EPL numbers and names format but in Champions League we get to wear the adidas version. Madrid always seem to get really nice kits, great colours, nice and simple yet elegant, ours are always so over the top especially our away kits.
  7. I doubt it will even be a kit, Adidas usually use templates and then just modify the colour schemes, badges, sponsor...etc, that template ive never seen before.
  8. Dont need defenders, even if Carvalho and Ferreira leave we still dont need defenders, we have Mancienne, Bruma, Hutchinson and Van Aanhalt plus Bosingwa coming back to add to Terry, Alex, Ivanovic, Ashley and Zhirkov. I think our defence was a bit leaky last season only because I dont think our midfield was as strong, I would rather we sign one or two quality midfielders and a Right Sided attacking player and we will be unstoppable, (Aguero, ozil and Schweinsteiger would be my choices alternatively Silva, Van Der Vaart and Yaya Toure or Javi Martinez
  9. Good player, but too slow and he would be competing with Drogba and Anelka to start and im not even sure he is better than Kalou or Sturridge. made up garbage like most of the rumours about Milan players
  10. Would be another great signing, strong, combative, reads the game well, very experienced for his age and distributes the ball well
  11. Would like Silva if we cant get Aguero this season, he would have to play on the right though roataing with anelka and cause on the left we pretty much jam packed, but id rather Aguero and Anelka rotate for that position.
  12. Seems like a strong player, he is really quick for a midfielder which is something we desperately need, and my word can this guy passa through ball, another attribute that we seem to be lacking, also seems to time his runs beautifully and get into the box and score goals (sounds like someone we all know and love) would be a fantastic replacement for Deco. Still has a lot to learn but I think at Celsea he could definately improve a lot and the tempo in England would suit his speed and quick passing and runs.
  13. I dont think he is good enough for Chelsea, especially at that price
  14. Having had the privilage of watching him live against Korea on Thursday, I am now more convinced than ever that he is the perfect player for Chelsea. I believe he is not far off from being as good as Messi
  15. Im gutted, ive got tickets to see Ghana play Serbia, would have loved to see him play
  16. This might actually suit Chelsea anyway, seeing as we seem to be the only club who has ever mentioned that we are aware of these laws and were already working towards breaking even and being self sufficient. Just love how all the papers point the fingers at us and Man City when they should be pointing them at Utd, Liverpool, Barcelona and Real Madrid. And another thing, so its fine for the Madrid government to subside them and inject huge amounts of cash into their club but god forbid our wealthy invest some of his money into our club.
  17. I think it is great that they are preventing clubs from taking massive loans from banks, but why cant a club receive capital from its owner if it is not generating any debt to the club? seriously that is backwards thinking and how do UEFA ever expect to football to grow economically if people cannot invest in football?
  18. tahts all well and good, until Aguero returns from the world cup and hands in a transfer request
  19. 2 or three quality players depends who leaves, if Ballack leaves id replace him with Toure, Deco id replace with Van der Vaart, Sneijder or Modric and Joe Cole id replace with Aguero, anyone else who leaves can be replaced by young players coming through the academy or returning from loan.
  20. Just because we can get him for a good price doesnt make him a better player. There are better, younger, quicker players we should be looking at instead of Benayoun. And to be honest I dont really want the bin dippers left overs at Stamford Bridge.
  21. Good player, but not good enough for Chelsea
  22. Terminator x, must be doing back flips about this
  23. You know there used to be time when Chelsea was not a 'big club'. I wonder if you would be saying the same thing if Chelsea were in Stoke's position and Adidas offered them a deal? Im also pretty sure teh marketing guys at a multi million dollar global company know a bit more than you about tarnishing their brand.
  24. Why not, he can still get his chances as a squad player, there will be injuries and rotation. Would like to see Ancelotti use him more as a substitute, plus im not too sure he is an out and out midfielder I reckon he is better out wide or just behind the strikers.
