Hiddink and Mourinho should never return in any capacity
manpe replied to Tomo's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
How does everybody know he would want full control over transfers? -
Why should he be? He had a 1 match suspension in CL... does he have a ban in EPL also? :S
-
0:09 was my favourite when I saw it live It's like he's living through what the players are living through... He's heading an airball and then gets angry when he misses. Is there a gif of that or can anybody make a gif of it? I'd appreciate it. Absolutely love that passion.

A confident striker plays with instinct, an unconfident one plays with brains. Maybe lobotomy is an answer

Sorry but what "impressive legacy" did Hiddink leave? He was in charge for ~4 months and won the FA Cup. If you're talking about legacy, I'd expect he'd have had at least a full season behind him. I loved Hiddink and wanted him to stay, absolutely... but his spell here was sadly too short and there is not much legacy he could fuck up by returning... and the chances of him coming back as a manager are minimal at best I think. -
Voted for Mata... notable mentions to Sturridge, Luiz, Čech, Mikel and also Torres for his assists
-
Serves the fucker right
-
Josh might have been impressive in pre-season, but in EPL he's yet to have any comparison material... I think it's unlikely and it would be a bad idea to suddenly play McEachran instead of Lampard in a big game like this. Lampard is more solid in defence, against Utd that will be needed.
-
Are you fucking serious? Look at the angle he was at... If he had taken a shot there and failed miserably, we would all be raging at him for not passing to Mata (like we did when he fucked up the pass/shot to Ramires against Sunderland). He did exactly the right thing, if you see a teammate in a better position, you give the ball to him. He did exactly what any other striker should have done.

Congratulations TX and ZanSnake... 2 legends in one day Tbh I never thought TX would become a legend after his feud with the staff and after that "Bellend" joke.

A class game. I liked the urgency and tempo of our play. The only one who kept Leverkusen at bay was their goalkeeper (Leiva?), what a class young goalie, unbelievable confidence. Mata was our best player imo, what a guy he is... EXACTLY the kind of player we've been missing past few seasons. And I was surprised that Terry and Lampard got rested, but I'm glad it worked out and that this team brought victory to AVB's debut. AVB certainly isn't afraid to take risks, experiment and rotate. Last season it would've been unthinkable not to play Terry and Lamps in a CL game. Sturridge was also sharp as always, only their goalie stopped him from scoring. Torres had 2 assists and a big applause to him for that. And David Luiz... man, what a player he is... Came from defence and scored a goal, his technical ability for a CB is immense.

For that to happen Ligue 1 has to find more investors to boost their finances, it's not only up to PSG to do that... They could turn into a force to reckon in Europe with smart management and a dominator of their league. With big investors coming into PSG, it could make the country seem more favourable to other businessmen also.. let's wait and see how it goes. It could snowball to success or crumble early. If they do well in CL or win it in a few years, it could boost their league's... how to say in English... desirableness?
-
I thought he was a legend bellend?
-
They probably don't want to turn the league into anything... It would just give them a chance to represent France more strongly on European level.
-
He does

I think zolayes is one?
-
What is Torres's record against Manure? And what is Anelka's record? I have no memory on such things. And since Drogba is unavailable for this game we'll play either Torro or Le Sulk as a striker, or maybe Sturridge if AVB wants to add an element of surprise.
-
What does aftonbladet know? It's impossible to know such things unless AVB tells them this directly, which I doubt seriously... I'm 99,9% sure Lampard, Terry and Cole will play, all 30+. And everybody knows Leverkusen are not to be underestimated, our best team mixed with smart rotation has to play.

Who needs Sergio Aguero when we've got Fabio Borini
manpe replied to Term-X's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I heard Carlo rated him highly and wanted to keep him, he just fell out with the board (mainly Arnesen, who vetod him from the 1st team squad). -
If he comes good, then I'd like to take him as a 2nd choice keeper who plays all games in Carling and FA Cup, like Cudicini used to do under Mourinho.

Training session drill - group hugging Wouldn't be surprised if it was true
-
I just thought that when Torres was in his prime, he had a Spanish coach and strong Spanish representative in the team (Benitez and some other players in Liverpool. After Benitez left his form gradually started dropping). I can't help but wonder if this can play a role... for example Bosingwa has played well under Portuguese managers, but sucked under others.
-
I would play Juandando so they would gel better against ManU. Leverkusen are not to be underestimated though... AVB will also want to get his CL debut off the mark with a solid win, so we'll probably see our best line-up and some key players rested in 2nd half. If we are winning 2/3-0 in the middle of 2nd half, I say give Kalou a run. Perhaps he can score a tap-in and raise his confidence level, we'll never know when we'll be forced to use him more regularly.. it will hopefully also help raise his price tag And as a sub against tired legs he ain't as bad as when he's facing players on same energy level as him.
-
How can you even compare Drogs to Lamps? Drogba has played only a handful of minutes, getting subbed on or subbed off in every game, and missing one game due to injury. Lampard has played every game 90 minutes... Drogba has maybe 90 minutes in total.
