The club and Courtois have said that their plan is 3 season loan before joining us... 1 (or 2) in Spain and 1 (or 2) in England.. so it's either 2+1 or 1+2, I don't remember which. The club is handling him very carefully and won't be thrown in starting squad like De Gea.

Do you count the spilt header to Ramires's goal as an assist too? Don't remember in which game it was... it will go down as an assist officially, but in reality it was unintended. But sure, Torres's overall play has been better than it was in liverpool.. I think he's managed more assists for us already than in his entire 'pool career. But it still remains that his general play has been poor, and his assists come mainly because he is too afraid to be in positions to score them himself.

because it has never benefited him, yet he still attempts... all of his goals so far have come from pinpoint passes, not once has he succeeded by outdribbling the whole team. he loses possession more than not. anyway, imo he just engages into too many impossible situations.

bingo, 2 things that he's missing... but when he does get proper service, his confidence comes into play and manages to screw up. It's a downward spiral that is hard to break. His confidence at the beginning of the season was better, you just need to watch the goals against manu and swansea, the Torres of 2012 would have taken n+2 touches before attempting a shot (n being the optimal time to shoot).
