Pace has little to nothing to do with the tempo of the game. Ramires is one of the quickest out there, but is our game really faster with him? Doubt it, his decisions and technique often pull our offensive tempo down despite him being able to run like Gump. The ball is always faster than any player, and Fabregas is exactly that - a ball playing midfielder, not a runner, because an accurate ball travels faster and poses more danger than simply trying to run through things. Our tempo will be quicker with him, mainly because hopefully we'll be able to stick more passes together and not be limited to giving the ball to Ivanovic for a deep cross. Excited.

Who reads those facebook comments anyway? Everyone knows no real Chelsea fan ever posts there, they post in TalkChelsea. Every time I go to have a look at the comments, I wonder how these people know how to turn on a computer, let alone type in it. So many morons flying around there it's not even funny anymore. What I also noticed is that many of them are fangirls of certain players or group of players, I hope nobody takes them seriously, I certainly don't.

I would like to add that by spreading those links and clicking on them serves their purpose. The click-based commercialism that online journalism has sunk to, has done no favours to press quality. It's literally got to the point where quantity > quality for them. It hurts the subjects, the minds of the impressionable (most of the younger readers) and since media of any kind is the biggest window to the world, thus shaping our cultures, it hurts the society as a whole. It even hurts the journalists, because instead of pursuing their ambitions and doing what they thought they would be doing when they first enlisted for college, they are instead forced to produce shit to feed their fat cats. I know of a case where sports journalists for a "reputable" Estonian newspaper use a pseudonym to write "sports" articles, because they are too ashamed to use their real names and risk being publicly affiliated with junk journalism and have their careers destroyed because of it. But the editorial board insists on these articles, because they are major click magnets for obvious twisted reasons.

Too much freedom sometimes is not good, namely press freedom in this case and many others. I read the bulletpoints at the start of the article and realized it's text wrapped around pictures, not the other way around. Pointless shit.

Now all they have to do is sign Pepe and Joey Barton and make Roy Keane their manager and they would have the perfect team.

The only captain I see in that list of names is Cech, but his future is in doubt. Other than him, I see nobody who wouldn't just be someone wearing an armband. Once all of the "old guard" is gone, we will realize how truly blessed we were with a team full of leaders and fighters. We will probably have more talent, skill and finesse, but no leadership, not like this. In fact it showed sometimes last season.
