  1. Our first real test, Everton away.. always difficult. Will be a cracking game I hope.
  2. I'm just nitpicking, but he only confirmed he's leaving. Quote about Chelsea "as far as I know yeah". But all things aside, it's almost as good as confirmation so WELL DONE. We've had some good transfer windows these past few years but this one takes the top.
  3. Blind would be a good signing for United. Versatile, has experience under his belt, but still presumably has his best years ahead of him. Fits perfectly in a 3-5-2 as a wing-back or defensive midfielder if they keep persisting with it. Wasn't too expensive. The best signing United have made so far in terms of quality, need and price. Will probably be a key figure along with Di Maria.
  4. Considering how often the defenders see the ball, they really can't afford to have players like Blackett in there. Where is Rojo anyway?
  5. Read the link I gave I feel it's a bit unfair to include him in here, but given his statistics elsewhere, he's a valid inclusion. He wasn't always the number 9 at Chelsea in his spell there. He only had the number for one season which wasn’t his most prolific, spending most of his time on the bench. Prior to that, he was wearing the number 21 at the club and performed better. His time at Chelsea was somewhat successful but he was never able to settle in England despite his efforts. He was loaned to AC Milan for one season, then returned back to Chelsea for another season and then finally left to Inter Milan. 49 apps, 20 goals
  6. And that's exactly what we need, considering we are a one striker team and we can't hold two natural starters. He'd be playing second fiddle to Costa, and for that he checks all the boxes, at least theoretically. Our second option, Destro, would be much more expensive and some could argue more risky. I challenge you to name better targets considering it's the last days of transfer window and clubs are extremely reluctant to let anybody go at this point.
  7. I think this number should be left alone for a while. It's endured world of abuse these past years (Kezman, Crespo, Boulahrouz, Sidwell, Di Santo, Torres). http://www.thefootballsupernova.com/2012/01/curse-of-chelseas-number-9.html I think let's leave it alone, let it rest from all the shame, and revisit that number when the time is right. 19 suits Costa very well imo, he could make it his own.
  8. So the latest news is from 1st August. It took me ages to find that little blue arrow at the top-right to view the real latest news. Well done site designers.
  9. The move is now subject to Fernando agreeing personal terms with AC Milan and passing a medical examination. Now see him get injured and not pass his medical or pulling out at the last moment.
  10. What do people have against tap-ins? A goal is a goal Nothing is enough for you guys.
  11. People who are not yet convinced about Destro, you just need to think about one thing: getting him would mean Torres leaving. It doesn't even matter who he is.. TORRES LEAVES. We should all be hailing this fairly unknown guy for providing us a viable option to replace (and thus unload) the shittiest fraud we have ever had. Plus he has a cool name - Destro.
  12. These are the strongest rumours of him leaving since he signed. I hope this ever-thickening smoke has fire.
  13. That doesn't really answer the question. I thought feet and hands go together, because both should depend on your dominant brain side.
  14. It just hit me - this fraud hasn't played a single second so far. Long may it continue! Keep twisting his arm, Jose.
  15. Afaik he's left-footed which means left-handed, but he threw that with his right. Monster.
  16. It does look like on this picture, but in reality the difference should be barely noticeable, because according to the internetz Thibo is only 3 cm taller.
  17. Which means somebody or some entity somewhere has become worth 9 million dollars more.
  18. Sounds like a nasty disease, a real nightmare. But have those social media viral marketing campaigns actually helped any real people? And by that I don't mean charity organizations raising money. I don't know, maybe I'm just too bleak and pessimistic about it all, but among this screwed up money-crazed manipulative world I just don't believe very lightly that people organizing mass fads like this care about anything other than filling their own pockets. I hope this isn't the case but it's very hard to believe in genuine goodwill these days.
  19. What is this new fad about anyway? Looks stupid.
