Just looks like an updated version of last season's kit that will be used as the secondary GK shirt last season. Another example is, in 2010/11, Cech wore an updated version of the 2009/10 home goalkeeper kit against MSK Zilina [away] in the UCL. Original: Updated for the 2010/11 season with new template: You'll note the sleeve design is totally different, without all the excessive green stitching. Instead it is the 2009 colourway of the 2010 adidas goalkeeper shirt template: Only sad bastards like me would notice the very intricate differences, but adidas do this quite regularly. That shirt will probably be our second-choice GK shirt for next term. In 2006/07, adidas gave us one new GK kit (two different colourways, which we used to mix and match, for instance click here for a picture of Cech that season in a mixture of both): Home: Away: In 2007/08 we kept the grey (above) as our second choice GK kit; the navy (above) as our third choice GK kit, and introduced this new primary strip: in 2008/09 we used the black (above) as a third goalkeeper strip, but it was never used, as the primary kit was the orange number below (home): We also had this gorgeous away kit (same style, different colourway), which we never actually wore (apart from in promos): in 2009/10 we retained the orange kit as a back-up kit to this: In 2010/11, the above kit was retained (albeit in a modified style) as a second GK strip, with the following as a primary shirt: in 2011/12, we had a brand new white primary strip (below), but we retained the above black kit as a secondary kit (worn vs Barcelona in the 2-2, for instance, but noticeably it went back to the old 2009/10 version rather than the updated style) and the green as a third kit (worn vs Leicester in the 5-2 FA Cup game, for instance): For the 2012/13 season we had that gorgeous green and gold kit, with the white retained as a second strip and worn, actually, surprisingly regularly due to referees regularly wearing green that season: For 2013/14 we had the bumblebee kit, with the green/gold number retained as a secondary kit: And this year we had the red/orange number, whilst the yellow was retained as a secondary strip but also worn regularly due to the number of teams wearing red in the Premier League: My point being that one GK kit is usually retained for the following season.

In a weird way, yes. I miss having to defend someone in every post-match thread

If he wants to go there, then fine. But we'll milk them for every fucking penny. £10 million and Walcott will do nicely.

People can say Bamford won't get a chance... no, he probably won't. Because we're Chelsea. Our two strikers are injury prone - would you want Bamford or Solanke leading the line in the Camp Nou in a UCL final? Falcao is class, he would be the best third choice striker in world football. He's had a bedding in period at a club where their system totally didn't suit him. He is designed to play in a Chelsea-esque system. Jesus Christ, I can imagine him having more of an impact than Costa. The bloke is a brilliant, brilliant forward finisher who only needs one chance. Magnificent in the air as well, despite his size. Would love him to wear our number 9 shirt.

But the issue here is that Remy isn't always fully fit and available, which makes me keen to sign someone in the Falcao category, in truth.

TalkChelsea administrator Alex says the forum "has no plans" to sell star cockwomble Liquidator to theshedend.com. Reports on Tuesday suggested that the young forumer may have been the subject of interest from theshedend but TalkChelsea's assistant manager has said otherwise. "There has been no contact", began Alex. "Either way, Harry isn't for sale. "He is a valuable asset. In the current market it isn't easy to find young, English talent. Harry is proof of that. He's fucking useless. But he's useless in a kind of loveable and charming manner, and we have no plans to sell him". Liquidator had been quoted in The Mirror as saying: "I have no desire to leave but if TalkChelsea wants to sell then the market is open". Alex then confirmed that any potential bid "would be blocked instantly". More to follow.

'Sometimes' is being generous. For instance: 'sometimes Mikel scores a goal', or 'sometimes Oscar won't get ripped to shit after a match'. Happens very infrequently.

Precisely. I'm surprised so many people are looking at this the way they are. Why would he criticise him after a meaningless post-season friendly? Remember what he said about Hazard about early in 2013/14? Worked a treat. It's up to RLC to show the mental tenacity to accept the challenge. José is effectively saying he needs to up his game if he wants to be in the first team. Yes, he'll be in the squad, but if he wants to play football for Chelsea FC, he can't take anything for granted.

Loic Remy scored a sublime winner as Chelsea concluded their post-season Asia tour with a second successive 1-0 victory. Having disposed of a Thailand All-Stars side on Saturday thanks to a Dom Solanke volley, the Blues were again indebted to a goal of considerable quality as Remy cut inside and spanked an unstoppable effort into the top corner from fully twenty yards to seal victory here against Sydney FC in front of 83,598 supporters. José Mourinho named a strong side as the Blues sought to conclude a successful season on a high note, and with the menacing Diego Costa and the magical Eden Hazard offered both time and space on the ball by their A-League opponents, Chelsea were not short on invention and attacking quality in an entertaining, end-to-end affair. It was Costa who had the first effort of note as he looked to have squeezed a shot from the tightest of angles through the goalkeeper's legs, only for the keeper to recover and pick the ball up before it trickled in. By the time Remy had smashed in the opener in the 30th minute he should arguably have already been on the scoresheet. Hazard, a constant threat, dribbled inside and his low cross across the face of the six yard box found the Frenchman who could only sweep his left-footed finish into the side netting. There was to be no repeat when the opener did indeed come, however, as Remy benefited from an incisive pass out wide from Jeremie Boga. Taking a touch to compose himself, Remy shifted inside before guiding his shot with laser precision beyond the helpless goalkeeper to give the Blues a 1-0 lead. Sydney almost replied instantaneously, but for a superb save from Petr Cech. Young Nathan Aké was caught drifting too far inside, allowing space for the Sydney striker to have a shot on goal. Cech, however, spread himself expertly, and Branislav Ivanovic acrobatically volleyed away the goalbound follow-up to clear the danger. Costa had another effort - this time very well saved - as he dribbled inside and then outside in a moment , in what was to be his last involvement as he was substituted off after an impressive 40 minutes. Both he and Remy had showed composure and technique in protecting the ball and linking it with the midfield as the Blues probed away patiently, and it ought to have been 2-0 before half-time as Boga sidefooted over from a presentable opportunity with Hazard again the architect, but the Blues were well worth their interval lead. The second half started tentatively after a swathe of half-time substitutions, with one of those new arrivals, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, failing to make the most of an intelligent reverse pass from Hazard on the edge of the box. At the other end, Hoole toe-poked a shot wide after similarly positive build-up play outside of the Blues' penalty area, whilst Remy showed great confidence as he drove forward before forcing the goalkeeper to scramble across his goalline - but thankfully, from his perspective, Remy's low effort bobbled wide. That signified the beginning of a more open period with both sides exchanging blows: first Antonis forced Cech into a relatively comfortable parry with a powerful drive from the right side of the area, whilst a miraculous goalline clearance by a Sydney defender prevented Remy from doubling his tally after Hazard had rounded the goalkeeper and found the Frenchman. With the whole of the goal to aim for, Remy instead could only direct his effort straight at the defender on the line, who headed clear. Cech made another routine save before another moment of Hazard magic opened up an opportunity for young Chelsea full-back Andreas Christensen, who could only find the goalkeeper's gloves with his drilled effort. Hazard had dribbled froward from the half-way line, nutmegging one defender and outpacing another two before finding his team-mate, and was understandably frustrated that the young Dane failed to either slot the ball home or find one of the forwards in the penalty area. Cesar Azpilicueta and Nemanja Matic could then both be criticised for picking the wrong option as both chose to go for goal from an acute angle instead of passing inside, whilst at the other end Cech had to make a truly stunning save to prevent Hoole from heading home an equaliser. The loose ball was bundled into the back of the net but only after the intervention of a Sydney hand. Despite that nerve-wracking moment and a couple of necessary blocks from John Terry and Ivanovic at the back as the home side pushed forward for a leveller, the Blues were able to hold on and secure a winning end to a silver-lined season. The Mirror are the shittest "source" in existence, but if he does come here he will have to accept a squad role. If he is happy with that, then brilliant!

Me too. Like I miss driving through Manchester, going to Asda, or taking exams.

There's no point arguing, mate, this is one of those where the person who shouts loudest wins. No point for reasonable debate when you're arguing with someone unreasonable. What's that got to do with anything? Although, while we're on this subject, if you don't like it, you know where the "sign out" button is. If you don't like people having opinions that conflict with your own you ought to quit while you're still ahead.
