I was going to put Deulofeu but I couldn't remember how to spell his name... but in all seriousness, he has operated almost exclusively on the right for them this season so far (I think).

Buys you these though:

Step-by-step guide to reading this post: 1) Get excited 2) See the source is The Mirror 3) Cry with disappointment 4) Watch Mirallas rip him to pieces.

We'll win, and then Rui Faria will teabag Martínez on the touchline at full-time.

Change the system and change the personnel and we'll be laughing. We're predictable because people are used to the way we play. Shut down the wingers, pack the midfield, and then hit us with pace on the flanks. We need to address that, of course. Defensively it is harder to shift, but from an attacking point of view, the shape has to change. Whether it is to 4-3-3, to an orthodox 4-4-2, 4-4-1-1, 4-3-2-1, or a 4-4-2 with a Diamond midfield, I don't know. But we're predictable and that makes us beatable. Courtois Azpi - Zouma/Cahill - Terry/Cahill - Baba Mikel/Ramires/Cesc - Matic/Oscar/RLCWillian/Pedro/Moses Hazard/Kenedy/Remy Falcao/Remy - Diego

I'd slap a transfer request in front of Mourinho if I was him.
-
Professional ghost.
-
Probably gone to hand in a transfer request.
-
A goalkeeper would also be a good shout
-
What the actual fuck
-
Same. I'm convinced we'll sign one more player.
-
I feel discriminated against.
-
An own goal? Fuck Everton and fuck Martinez. Costa is going to dick them again and Zouma's going to break Lukaku in two. Up Chelsea.
-
Nah, Mason plus a tenner would be a fair deal
-
Your point based on both players' performances at Wolfsburg is fair, but the fact is Schurrle looked like he could deliver a telling goal or assist whenever he played, whether as a starter or as a substitute. KdB, not quite so much. Mourinho was justified in selling him at the time.
-
I'd love Nasri at Chelsea. It won't happen, but if he was to get a bit fed up of being second-choice to Pellegrini's "projects" in KdB and Sterling, who he has to play based on their transfer fees, I'd have him in a flash.
-
If we're playing that game then Remy is a failure because of his wages and transfer fee and he only scored nine goals last season*. Don't be selective with your arguments. You can't level a player's wage as a criticism for or against him. Falcao took a massive pay cut to come here, don't forget. * before anyone says, I'm being deliberately antagonistic to make a point. Remy's contributions last season don't require any debate. You make a good point though, I can't see him getting more than 6 or 7 starts this season, like Drogba last year.

Yes, sorry, I worded it very poorly!
-
Well... I actually meant every word of it.
-
And end up in the Europa League, which would serve Mourinho right for slagging off Benitez for winning it in 2013.
-
Forget the "under pressure" part - if only he could be trusted to make a simple pass at all... the frustrating thing with Ramires is he can do something breath-taking, then the next minute be all kinds of absolute fail.

I did, no plagiarism for a change, why?

I have my reservations as well, but Zouma alone isn't the answer to our questions, and even if signing a Garay-type defender makes Terry/Cahill buck up their ideas and improve their performances, then that is a significant short-term success in itself.

Arsenal would be the most suited, but he is perhaps a little too clumsy in possession to fit into Wenger's model. He'd have to work on his passing game, for sure. But I was thinking outside the box and thinking a move back to the continent would suit him best. With his explosive pace and ability to both hold up the ball and run in behind, I think he'd thrive in Spain.
