  1. He's easily got the sexiest hair in the PL, though.
  2. I had such high hopes for him, but even me, someone who backed Torres to the end, just couldn't ever see him adapting to the PL. Oh well, in six months he won two trophies so I'm sure he won't regret his time at Chelsea. Let's just hope we can recoup as much as possible.
  3. I'd never seen Twitter so happy to see JMO on the pitch on Sunday!
  4. But we are initiated, aren't we, Bruce?
  5. Apologies, I've made the necessary amendments. In all seriousness, whilst successful troll has been successful, I'll change them back - unless we beat Palace, in which case they're staying for the season
  6. I got bored half-way through page two, sorry.
  7. Moderating. Moderating done right.
  8. Let's look at the one statistic that counts - goals per game - then.
  9. I feel for JT. There's a media witch-hunt out to get him, and then some cheating twat gets him sent off. I can see why the referee gave it, but why on earth as a striker would you go down when you're through on goal? There's only two options - 1) you've been fouled, and 2) because you're a cheating twat trying to get somebody sent off, because you're scared you're going to miss the opportunity to score. Rondon is a cunt and I hope Rui Faria goes apocalyptic and break him in two when West Brom come to the Bridge. How a bloke that big can go down like that is fucking criminal.
  10. He'll probably do a Deco and score a stunner in his second game, and then do fuck all for the next two years.
  11. LOL because Diego Forlan was a stunning success in English football.
  12. Re: Tancredi Palmeri - http://www.talkchelsea.net/_/news/my-two-and-a-half-cents-august-5th-r292
  13. Whoever designed those shorts was high on Ket at the time.
  14. I'm willing to bet a fiver that's basically the team we start with, knowing José!
  15. Both fair points, but even so, especially when you compare what we've done in this transfer market (entirely reactionary player acquisitions) to last year's far more proactive approach (Costa, Fabregas and Luis all recruited well before the start of the season), it is a little disappointing that Mourinho and company didn't see just how beneficial a good pre-season is to a good start in the league, especially in Costa's and Cesc's cases.
  16. I'm doubtful this will happen. Why have we left it so late in the window? The fact we have suggests to me that Stones wasn't our first option...
  17. No-one forgets that, but if we're going to use nostalgia as a yardstick to measure player performances then we might as well not even have these discussion topics.
  18. You like to think you are relevant on any scale, but you really aren't.
