If I'm not mistaken, he got 62 seconds. Therefore we've paid Nantes £43548.39 per second that he appeared for us.

BAMFORD

You are so horribly missing the point that it is painful. REGARDLESS of whether this has gone to tribunal or been settled internally, my point is that she has every right to take the club on for damages because she has been absolutely humiliated in a public arena. Whether or not she is asking for her job back is another matter entirely. But that is irrelevant in the context of my point. I am not making any points based on speculation or innuendo, but based on the way she was quite clearly berated and insulted on the touchline by Mourinho, and the rather public fallout that ensued.

Now score a goal.

Laporte is better, but Stones is English.

Apologies both, blonde moment

Not once did I say she's given more than anyone else. However, as you've alluded to in a later post, you got hung up over my use of the word "given". Regardless, it doesn't matter whether she was long-serving or a three-month intern. The way she was treated was disgraceful. The club did nothing to either back or admonish Mourinho for his actions. In truth, in acquiescing with his actions, they indirectly condoned them. Their silence on the matter is deafening no matter how you would try to sugar-coat it. However, the irony here is delicious. Whilst you're lambasting ""some posters" for being "confused" and for "giving verdicts... without hearing a shred of evidence from either party", to open your own statement with "Well obviously the club think her and her lawyers..." is somewhat contradictory. Good work, Miss Marple. I think we'll leave it at that. Correct. At least one person is able to comprehend what I was saying. Regardless of the rather undignified way she has acted since, this treatment is most unfair.

Chelsea with Mikel in starting XI under Guus Hiddink: Matches:19 Wins:15 Draws: 4 Loses: 0 Unbeaten.

You mean the big grey/black button in the bottom of the screen?

Hope she takes them to the cleaners. Not only does it constitute unfair dismissal, it it was entirely humiliating, degrading, and embarrassing for someone who's given a lot to the club. I previously posted that I backed Mourinho on his choice, and to some extent I still do, and I made the point that I would rather have José than some doctor. Nevertheless, that doesn't take into account her shameful treatment and the club deserve what's coming to them.

Great work, @Jim. It'll take some getting used to and as we go through we'll be able to fine-tune everything. Top job lad! I'll update this post with things I find that need tweaking: The "fan since" field is out. I've got my profile selected as 1997, but it shows as 1996. Obviously a minor thing but needs changing The "United Kingdom" thing might upset a few people. I, for instance, identify myself as "English" before "British", so the British Isles options need adding again

I presume you've forgotten about Liverpool fluking their way to the CL in 2005, or maybe Porto the year before?
-
Absolutely not. Courtois is a freak talent and will go on to surpass every record Cech ever sat. Courtois at 22 is a better keeper than Cech at the same age. More to the point, right now, in 2016, Thibaut Courtois is superior to Petr Cech in every single aspect except for experience, and he'll achieve that with age.

Whipped.

He was an inconsistent 6/10 at best last season. Outstanding in some matches and totally anonymous in others.

Draw at best.

There isn't one in this current crop besides Terry.

Scenes when Bamford scores a hat-trick and we lose 7-3.

Swansea thinking about offloading Gomis if they can get Bamford on loan.

I thought he was a (predominantly right-sided) winger?

I love this season's shirt. Can't we keep it for another year? Oh no, adidas would miss out on a few more million.

Cudicini was fantastic. Remember him being injured against Fener in the CL in 2008 so started taking goal kicks with his left foot and they were just as good. Unbelievable upper body strength as well, I've never seen someone bowl a ball as quickly as he used to. And agreed, Cech was excellent. Some of his long throws were unreal - long, but flat, meaning they could be controlled well. The best example that springs to mind is against Burnley in 2010 when he threw a ball 50 yards to Joe Cole, who set up Anelka for the first goal in a 2-1 win. Fast forward to 2 mins, 2 secs. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xc209g_200910-pl23-burnley-1-2-chelsea_sport You see him catch the ball and launch the perfect flat throw out to the winger. Textbook. The reason he rarely distributed quickly is because we're Chelsea. Teams rarely are left exposed at the back against us: they remain compact. This was one of the few opportunities we had that season to play a counter straight from the goalkeeper. Another example is this, go to 4 mins, 5 secs: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xcb0z2_wolverhampton-wanderers-v-chelsea_sport But when you have a player like Drogba up top, a bad goal kick can become a good one. Now, the only "out ball" we have from one is Ivanovic.

1. Neuer 2. Courtois 3. de Gea 4. Buffon 5. Cech A clear top five. Several other outstanding good goalkeepers in Handanovic, Lloris, ter Stegen, Bravo, Navas, etc., but those five are world class.
-
I fundamentally disagree. Putting my goalkeeper coaching hat on, I'll tell you footwork is the most important thing in a goalkeeper's repertoire considering 85% of what a goalkeeper does is to distribute the ball. Agreed about his save, though. You can't coach that. Totally instinctive.

That's how I felt until he went to Arsenal. Like with Lampard now he's left City and Joe Cole after he left Liverpool, I'll love him again when he leaves those shitcunts.
