Sarri has questioned the players mentality months ago, Zidane would just put his arm around them when its clear we actually need to change a large portion of the squad. Too many individuals who have been comfortable playing at 50% because they know they can get away with it when a coach pays the price. His coaching record has been terrible. Hes got experience of being around the club and having success but as a coach or a manager, hes done nothing of note.

Hopefully Barkley will spend more time in the final third than Kovacic.

Honestly think hes one of the best suited managers they can get for their CL dream. In the short term, with all the backing PSG could offer, on top of the likes of having Verratti, Neymar, Mbappe, Cavani, Thiago Silva and Marquinhos already the guy could realisitcally get them to a CL final I think. I think Tuchel is too much of an idealisitc manager like Sarri, to be able to instill that win at all costs mentality which undoubtly comes at the cost of the teams playing style sometimes. It doesn't matter. Cesc loved Arsenal.... Courtois loved Atletico, Torres loved Liverpool... Ashley Cole loved Arsenal.... countless players have done it in the past and players will do it still. Good character or not. If it came down to leaving Chelsea (which I think is 100% what he has decided to do) and only PSG made a move do you think hed say na? No chance, we are looking at no CL football next season again potentially. Realistically he could go anywhere. Good character or not, weve seen enough of it in modern day football to know that loyalty is totally different to what it was 20 years ago. Would be absolutely naive to think he would 100% not go to Paris just because "he loves Lille".

And Courtois wouldnt go to Real. Cesc wouldnt play for another team in England. Among countless others. I dont get the Kante point youve made there. When has he ever played as a DM? Can somebody please find this out because I am seeing it everywhere and have been all season and other than 4 games under Conte he has never played there in the PL or for the NT. Even Darren Fletcher (ex United captain and Scotland NT player) aluded to it in an interview with BBC Sport. Hes never played as a sitting midfielder in the PL. Ever. Also I think we could surprise people tonight, nobody expects us to get a result based on what Ive seen so I think it would be the perfect opportunity for the players to get one. United havent exactly been brilliant either, theyre more offensive but leave huge gaps when their full backs get advanced.

Exactly. But they also need to step up and take some responsibility in helping the team get out when this happens. Jorginho has struggled some games yes but being man marked is a sign of respect. Everyone knows Kante and Kovacic dont do what he does.
