I think you mean CB, dear. I've stated this numerous times in the past: David can best influence our attack when he plays at CB where he can have much more time and space to pick passes out and where he can make a bigger difference when makes a forward run and gives us an extra man in midfield.
"Money boy"? That's very ironic coming from us Chelsea fans since over-paying in both fees and wages is how we got most of the players we did in the past decade.
Selling Rooney will be a HUGE mistake by utd, imo. RVP is very unlikely to repeat his form of the start of last season. He was always going to be a short-term investment.
It literally took 2 mins of staring at "JME" to figure out that you meant Josh! Mikel won't be joining the squad until after the Asian tour just like everyone else who participated in teh confederation cup.
After the last major injury in his knee and the fact that he played most of the 11-12 season with injections in his knee, I'm surprised he can reach 3 inches.
Haven't clicked on this thread in a while so my last read post was a lot of pages back. It is hilarious to read how many times someone in claims it is a done deal or 'very close' or will happen in the next 48 hours and it is sad to see the triumphant reaction here followed inevitably by disappointment every time.
He did not literally say his "entire career", but he said, in an interview with CTV, that (he does not mind going on loan, but) this is where he wants to have a career. Don't....Just, please don't!
I think there will be plenty of bumps in the road for Jose in terms of team selection next season. There will be times where he will bench Mata or Hazard. As much as Jose's return felt like a fairy tale for Chelsea fans, we should keep in mind that there is no such thing as "and they lived happily ever after" in football.
Mata had a lot of sub-par performances in 4-3-3 under AVB. Being better than Malouda and Kalou at that time is not really saying much. And for all his offensive brilliance, Mata was one of the reasons AVB's pressing tactics did not work out.
At 23, we pretty much already know the type of player Bertrand is while Shaw is an 18yo who had some good games in his first season in the PL. If you're "not sure" about anyone, it should be Shaw.
It's not about the formation, it's about what system your players fit best in regardless of who else uses it. Spain, for example don't use 4-2-3-1 in particular; their team has a very "free" formation because positional freedom is what suites their players best.
I just want to thank Doni as well. Most members here did not see the immense work he put in behind the scenes especially on social networks to promote TalkChelsea. So thank you my friend and I hope to still see you around here on a regular basis.
How can you "Hate" someone for footballing reasons? I dislike a lot of footballers, but I can't hate anyone because of his footballing ability, let alone players on my team.. Anyway, please tone it down a bit. You are of course entitled to your opinion but we would appreciate it if you expressed it in a less offensive language.
