Lazy defending when he played Sissoko on for the 1vs1 against Cech and when he lost De Jong in the box and gave him a free header at the edge of the 6-yard box. A couple of other smaller mistakes as well. But....that pass to start the counter for the second goal

Had to use our "get out of jail, free" card in the first half when Sissoko broke through.

I thought he would. We only have 7 defenders for 4 places. Doesn't make sense to let one go.

In terms of best squad in a particular time, I agree with Alex. The 07-08 was the most complete team. That team should have won the treble, imo.

Yeah, he should probably be there, but for sentimental reasons, I couldn't not put Ballack in there.

My all time best Xi would be something like: Cech Petrescu - Desailly - JT - Cole Ballack - Essien - Lampard Robben - Drogba - Zola But I'm probably forgetting someone..

First PL game that JT will miss this season. Gutted for him, but he could probably use the rest, tbh.
