This says it all, really...
EDIT: Here's the full quote: 'He’s not ready. You cannot make the mistakes for Chelsea that he is making with us. It is not possible. 'He is progressing and he is not an old player, he is 23. He is fast and has fantastic technique. Going forward he is one of the best but in defence he has to learn a lot if he wants to play for Chelsea. He must be reliable.'
Not too worried about who we will get. Jose more or less promised a new top striker in the summer, I'm just waiting for the surprise What if you were offered to be able to marry both Azpi and Salah in return for us keeping Torres?!
Something like: "I am not bothered if PSG are interested (in Oscar and Hazard). If there is FFP then PSG can't afford them, but if there are no FFP then they can make a crazy bid like 300m for both then we'd think about it."
Dude, relax. You don't even know what the question was when he said that. He was probably asked by a reporter of what he thought about Eden and he answered that. And he's said it in French, so the wording could just be as a result of the translation. If you try hard enough, you can get offended by practically anything..
I think despite having a bad patch, by his standards that is, Petr is still by far the best keeper in the league. Besides him, JT, Azpi and obviously Hazard from our team should be in the team of the season, imo.
I doubt Jose would sell him. For all his lack of technical ability and despite him being in some very bad form for some while, Jose has always said that he is a very important key player for us. I think, with everyone available, Jose's first choice pivot would be Matic-Ramires.
Actually feel a bit sad for Valdez. He's not exactly a good keeper, but he's been there forever and does not deserve to leave the Camp Nou for the last time on a stretcher.
The thing is, he's a really decent LB. I'd take him in a heart beat over the likes of Gibbs and Flanagan. But we're just looking for better than that. I really like Ryan, and I think making a permanent move to Villa, or even replacing Shaw at Southampton, would be good for him.
Yes, they lack consistence, but that has nothing to do with the point. I was listing the matches where City could drop points and if they turn up, Southampton certainly can take points off City.
