  1. I think he's already informed the club that he wishes to leave so we are not really bothering to play him in preseason. But I think I saw a pictured of him training.
  2. Worst part, is that we could all tell that Forest was the wrong loan for him. It was so obvious. He wanted to go back to Watford where he already knew the players and fit in well, but the club sent him to Forrest because they offered to pay 10k/wk more of his wages!
  3. You kinda missed my main point behind that post: If you want to end extremism, why not start with that on your side of the fence first? The vast majority of the targets have been civilian houses. Not their premises, not the are next to them, the houses directly. Do you think Hamas are firing rockets from the kitchen or the living room? Btw, the 'dummy bomb' is a rocket fired from an MK pilot-less plane. It's no F16 airstrike, but it cause quite a lot of damage. This warning 'dud' rocket is much more powerful than an actual Hamas rocket. Seriously, just think about that for a second.
  4. Well, I regret to inform you that we will be winning the title again this year. Roma have made a couple of smart signings, but it will be near impossible for them to go on a run like they did at the start of last season. Juve have the best team, the best bench, the best finances, and by far the best board and management in the league.
  5. No. You think Muslim extremists represent all Palestinans? You want to get rid of extremism? Why do you start with those people? Eliminate the extremism in your own population and the extremism on the other side will be A LOT less. It must be easier than bombing Hamas and killing civilians instead.
  6. No, but apparently you can sit and watch REAL rockets from warships and F16 planes rain down on civilians (with a big bucket of popcorn!):
  7. What do you reckon are the numbers of Jews still living in Egypt right now? I got a couple of hundred off the internet.
  8. Let it slide? What you said was highly offensive! Apology accepted? I'm talking about the people in Gaza and the Westbank. The people in Haifa are Israeli citizens and are irrelevant to any of the points were discussing. I don't get what does this has to do with what is happening to Gaza and the West Bank? You've addressed none of the points I raised (in fact, you even completely ignored my last two replies to you) but instead for some reason you want to talk other countries, like that somehow justifies killing innocent civilians in Palestine. Are suggesting that what Israel is doing to the Palestinians is a fair punishment to what Muslims are doing elsewhere? What about the Christian Palestinian in Gaza and the West Bank who share the same fate?! Sigh...I was hoping that you were just misinformed, but it is clear that you unfortunately know exactly what islamophobic propaganda you are spreading. I realize that this argument with you will not reach anything, but I would like to clarify some of the things for people who are reading this thread and know little about the region lest they mistake your points for facts: There were A LOT of Jews living peacefully and as equal citizens in most of the middle east even after the inception of Israel, it was only after the 1967 war that they started immigrating. But even today, there are still Jews living in a lot of middle-eastern countries with absolute freedom: In Morocco there are a few thousands, in Lebanon there are 3000 registered Jews but only a couple of hundred live here now. They have all their rights like any other Lebanese and have synagogue to exercise all their religious rights. Iran has the biggest Jew community of about 30000. Again they are fully integrated in the Iranian society and have all their rights like Iranians and even have a seat in the Iranian parliament. Egypt has a couple of hundred as well. Add to that a few hundred or thousand (no official estimate) in Yemen. All those Jews do NOT pay a 'Jizya' because all those states I mentioned are secular states. A 'Jezya' is something that is only implemented in a country has a Khalifite rule. It is meant as a tax to the state (because Islamic rule does not have regular taxes on stuff). It is only paid by non Muslims because Muslims pay 'religious taxes' like Fitra on holidays, Shiiites have to pay a 5th of their savings every year. I'm not saying it is the same, I'm just explaining the logic behind it. Fortunately, no state has implemented this 'Jizya' law for about 200 years. KSA? I despise their rulers, their laws, their political stance, everything this current KSA represents. But your pals in Israel and the USA LOVE them and would protect them with everything in their power. But what does that have to do with this debate? And how does their backward, irrational, out-of-date laws compare to bombing trapped civilians with state-of-the-art weaponry?! I know that Muslim extremists are doing a lot of terrible things in your home country. They're doing a lot of terrible things in my country too! And a a whole lot more in my neighboring country. But taking an extremist stance against all Muslims and all those associated with them does not help. It only sets up even more violence and extremism in the future.
  9. OMG, stop, PLEASE. This is just so wrong and so offensively stereotypical. Seriously, just STOP! I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you are just misinformed about the region and not trying to say that Muslims are so barbaric that they are better off living being bombed by Israel than living with each other. It is only very small extremists groups that don't accept the differences between Shia and Sunnis. To generalize like this would be like saying all Christians are Neo-Nazis. My mom is Sunni and my Shiite! All historians and Sheikhs agree that the issues between the two are political than religious. And are you seriously comparing outdated laws (in frankly largely uneducated cultures) that the vast majority of the people there actually agree with, with being deprived of the basic human rights such as food, water, shelter and freedom and being racially discriminated against harassed on a daily basis?! I know you are only trying to debate, but PLEASE get some context to what you're saying!
  10. That is in Syria Dude, at least try not to look like a propaganda!
  11. You can't excuse young players for obviously not giving 100% and not tracking back. Usually, yes. But not at Forest. Just go read what their fans said about him. Towards the end of the loan, he didn't really try, he didn't track back. That's in excusable.
  12. Of course it's terrible attitude. He's supposed to be a professional. Especially someone his age should show determination and professionalism regardless of the circumstances. I agree, this year will be crucial for him. We need to get him the right loan. He can't afford another year like last.
  13. Everton are playing for Europa League which is why they can afford to give youngsters like Barkley chances, while we're challenging for the title and playing Champions League semifinals which is why we needed to keep Mikel even after we bought Matic. Very lazy, especially towards the end of the loan. He was just not trying anymore. He looked completely disinterested.
  14. Actually it's Oriol that has signed a new contract not Nathanial. Yes, Forest was not entirely his fault (though his attitude was terrible) but even at Boro he could not replicate his Watford form. We have A LOT of young talents on loan and even more top class players in the first team. You can't have a bad season out on loan and come back expecting to be in the first team squad.
  15. Great to hear. He's still young with a lot of potential and the worst case scenario is that his value keeps increasing. The contract doesn't necessarily mean that he's staying, but along with what he said and the fact that he was the only outfield player scheduled to play 70 minutes last night, I think it's safe to say that Jose is at least evaluating whether to keep him or not.
  16. Ironic thing is that he's just announced that he's signed a new contract with the club probably while you were writing that! https://www.facebook.com/OriolRomeu6?fref=nf I think realistically, both Oriol and MVG are miles ahead of Nathanial and even they aren't guaranteed a role with the team next season! Nathanial is still young and still not ready, imo. His best (if not only) option is another loan.
  17. Well if he couldn't get into Forest's starting lineup then he's probably not ready. Even at Boro he was in and out of the side. I'm just saying, there are a lot of our other players who impressed a lot more on loan last season.
  18. This is so wrong and out of context. You just epitomized someone brainwashed by Zionist propaganda. Let's start with what is factually wrong with what you just posted: "This is an issue about religion". WRONG. This is an issue about land, equality, and the basic human rights of Palestinians. The proof? The Jews and Muslims and the Christians lived peacefully together in Palestine, as well as in Lebanon, and north Africa until Zionism came along in teh early 20th century to rob Palestinians of their land and their rights. In fact, Theodor Herzl, the creator of Zionism was an atheist! "This a historical struggle between Jews and Muslims". WRONG. Couldn't be further from the truth actually. Historically, Jews and Muslims got along very well together and the Jews that were oppressed and persecuted in the Christian west were always treated A LOT better in the Muslim world. That is why, for example, when the Arabs left Andalusia, the Jews came back with them to the Muslim world. In general, Islam and Judaism have a lot in common. Much more than with Christianity. A lot of Muslim traditions and practices come from Judaism. "This is not a genocide". The what do you call trapping 2 million people in a 350 squared kilometers land, with all borders blocked and sieged even the one to the sea, with no supplies from outside the land allowed in, being bombed by the most advanced weapons in the world? A hunting sport??! Now, lets put some of the things you said into context: First you are quick to point out that the "terrorist" Hamas is the route of this problem. Then how do you explain decades of Israel attacking and murdering Palestinians before Hamas. Hamas are new to the struggle. I already pointed out to you (which you ignored) that the struggle started with a much more secular and liberal Arabic parties. But Israel made a point of assassinating all the educated people of this secular resistance. Doctors, writers, poets, leaders, even caricature artists murdered by the dozens in the 60s, 70s and 80s and not just in Palestine or even Lebanon, but all over the world. The reason that Hamas are at the front of this struggle now is that Israel brought them there and Israel wants them there. Israel wants the Palestinians to be religious extremists, not doctors and artists, because it would look better when they kill them. Second, the "human shields". Besides the fact that "Hamas positions children strategically" is something beyond stupid to say, and that that video is mistranslated as you should have been able to tell by the fact that all comments have been disabled for it to prevent people from correctly translating it. But what is correct is that the people of Gaza have often tried to protect their own homes with their bare chests. Let's forget for second the obvious question of why Israel feels the need to target civilian homes (are the rockets being fired from the living room?), how can you not ask yourself the question of what has led a human being to this desperate situation. What are the circumstances that have forced a human being to stand on the roof of his home before it gets bombed because he has no other choice? "Hamas attacks Israel each year with hundreds of rockets." How about saying why? Do you think that the Palestinians like having their houses bombed and their loved ones killed? Hamas, and all the resistance before it, fire rockets because it is their last means of resisting, of fighting for what remains of their basic human rights. This is exactly the propaganda that brainwashes people: Leaving out the events that have lead to the current situation, leaving out history and any sort of context. Not mentioning the living conditions of the Palestinian people and the racism they suffer from on a daily basis. "Israel are defending themselves." How? Please explain to me what exactly are the airstrikes targeting and what exactly does that achieve. The attacks are meant to terrorize and punish the Palestinian civilians. There is no denying that.
  19. Are we? He didn't exactly set the world alight last season. Why should he be given a chance before someone like Atsu, for example? Honestly, I'm just hoping that one of Oriol and MVG are given a chance this season!
  20. Yeah, even Oriol played a couple of great long balls including the one for the first goal.
  21. Exactly why we won't get another B2B midfielder, because we already have Rami and like you said, he is capable of doing the job that we need done. Honestly, as long as Cesc starts the matches against the teams that will park the bus, especially at the Bridge, I'll be more than happy seeing Rami in all the big matches.
  22. Looked a bit nervous, especially at the start, but played a couple of gorgeous diagonal balls. My heart skipped a beat when that guy went through him from behind.
