These things usually depend on the media. If the media make a huge fuss then the FA acts (unless it is one of their darlings like Gerrard or Rooney). This has hardly been mentioned in the media so I expect it to not even be acknowledged by the FA.

I agree. His form has been sub par in the past couple of weeks, but things like "not Chelsea level" or "doesn't suite our style of play" or saying that he can't play better than he has played in the past weeks implying that he is a poor player is just too fickle even for football fans!

That REALLY is not saying much. Most of players yesterday had great performances yesterday and no one had a bad game, imo, Andre included.

Forget something between those matches? Like his excellent performance and goal against City? And I think he was great against Sporting apart from the finishing.

I hate us playing teams like Palace after the international break because their players have two weeks to rest and fully prepare for the match while ours return exhausted and barely get a training session or two before it.

No idea where he played at Lille. Why in the world would I watch Ligue 1?! Was more tongue in cheek comment, but point being there is nothing wrong with showing 'symptoms' of Kalou. In fact, a squad player like him would have done us a world of good in the past couple of seasons, IMO. Yes he was inconsistent and sometimes frustrating but like Andre, his work rate was excellent, he had good movement and scored important goals. Obviously Andre is on a different level in terms of pace, movement and technique. I think that a player like that is needed in the team and I don't think that for a second Jose plans on replacing him. And of course he did! That is why we love Salomon Kalou alongside the facts that he comes from the Ivory Coast and does not do cocain like Adrian Mutu
