Yes, sold Quaglliarella and bought Morata. Lukaku was the back up plan if the Morata deal failed.
-
That makes no sense. They already have Tevez and Llorente as well. Evening standard just trying to get some clicks.
-
This expired when they signed Morata.

No, just typical Lebanon

Went to the Adidas store yesterday and was told that they won't have the kits for at least another two months
-
Did he change his Facebook status to "it's complicated" with Chelsea as well!
-
I just hope we're not rushing him with a PL loan. I honestly would have preferred he spends a season in the championship at a team that is guaranteed to play him as a starter.
-
I think he's already informed the club that he wishes to leave so we are not really bothering to play him in preseason. But I think I saw a pictured of him training.
-
Worst part, is that we could all tell that Forest was the wrong loan for him. It was so obvious. He wanted to go back to Watford where he already knew the players and fit in well, but the club sent him to Forrest because they offered to pay 10k/wk more of his wages!
-
Well, I regret to inform you that we will be winning the title again this year. Roma have made a couple of smart signings, but it will be near impossible for them to go on a run like they did at the start of last season. Juve have the best team, the best bench, the best finances, and by far the best board and management in the league.
-
You can't excuse young players for obviously not giving 100% and not tracking back. Usually, yes. But not at Forest. Just go read what their fans said about him. Towards the end of the loan, he didn't really try, he didn't track back. That's in excusable.
-
Of course it's terrible attitude. He's supposed to be a professional. Especially someone his age should show determination and professionalism regardless of the circumstances. I agree, this year will be crucial for him. We need to get him the right loan. He can't afford another year like last.
-
Did I miss something?
-
Everton are playing for Europa League which is why they can afford to give youngsters like Barkley chances, while we're challenging for the title and playing Champions League semifinals which is why we needed to keep Mikel even after we bought Matic. Very lazy, especially towards the end of the loan. He was just not trying anymore. He looked completely disinterested.
-
Actually it's Oriol that has signed a new contract not Nathanial. Yes, Forest was not entirely his fault (though his attitude was terrible) but even at Boro he could not replicate his Watford form. We have A LOT of young talents on loan and even more top class players in the first team. You can't have a bad season out on loan and come back expecting to be in the first team squad.
-
Great to hear. He's still young with a lot of potential and the worst case scenario is that his value keeps increasing. The contract doesn't necessarily mean that he's staying, but along with what he said and the fact that he was the only outfield player scheduled to play 70 minutes last night, I think it's safe to say that Jose is at least evaluating whether to keep him or not.
-
Ironic thing is that he's just announced that he's signed a new contract with the club probably while you were writing that! https://www.facebook.com/OriolRomeu6?fref=nf I think realistically, both Oriol and MVG are miles ahead of Nathanial and even they aren't guaranteed a role with the team next season! Nathanial is still young and still not ready, imo. His best (if not only) option is another loan.
-
Well if he couldn't get into Forest's starting lineup then he's probably not ready. Even at Boro he was in and out of the side. I'm just saying, there are a lot of our other players who impressed a lot more on loan last season.
-
Are we? He didn't exactly set the world alight last season. Why should he be given a chance before someone like Atsu, for example? Honestly, I'm just hoping that one of Oriol and MVG are given a chance this season!
-
It's beautiful! :')
-
Yeah, even Oriol played a couple of great long balls including the one for the first goal.
-
Exactly why we won't get another B2B midfielder, because we already have Rami and like you said, he is capable of doing the job that we need done. Honestly, as long as Cesc starts the matches against the teams that will park the bus, especially at the Bridge, I'll be more than happy seeing Rami in all the big matches.
-
Looked a bit nervous, especially at the start, but played a couple of gorgeous diagonal balls. My heart skipped a beat when that guy went through him from behind.
-
Same squad, right? No new players joining up between now and Saturday? Luis, maybe?
-
But that is exactly the point, while the general consensus was that Rami was playing badly, Jose thought he was playing very well because while most fans judge him based on individual moments in a match (bad pass, bad shot...etc.) Jose judges him based on what he overall wants from him: energy and dynamism in midfield and a lot of pressing.
