  1. I think a lot of what is being reported in the media is being exaggerated but I can't help think that it is his fault. He turned himself into someone who is expected by Chelsea fans to keep saying the wrong things. You see something bad being reported in the media about him and you don't think "I don't believe this, let me check for a more reliable source or the exact quotes". Instead you think "Oh no, he's at it again." He's lost the support of most of the Chelsea fans and he has no one but himself to blame for that.
  2. Not really. He had his 'philosophy' with the 3-5-2, but that's about it. He failed in making tactical adjustments to his team according to the opposition and it showed in the cups (both Coppa Italia and CL). The fact that he failed to win Coppa Italia in all of his 3 seasons with the squad that he had which is miles ahead of anyone in Italy, speaks volumes.
  3. Probably just for the last two preseason matches if the four weeks break given to the Spanish lads and Cahill is anything to go by.
  4. To keep it short: No. Still too raw and inconsistent. I don't think we're interested in Pogba because it is obvious that we mean business this season and he's one for the future. Vidal would of course be a huge addition to any team, but I don't see us buying him unless Ramires is involved in some kind of swap+cash deal. Otherwise, I honestly don't think Jose is looking for another CM. We're set in that department. Defense is what should be addressed.
  5. I like how your brain works But that would be marketing suicide. Adidas would probably assasinate Gourlay before he does that!
  6. I find that VERY unlikely. He's 29 in December. A 4-year deal will keep him till he's 33! Not exactly in compliance with our policy for players over 30.
  7. Hope he gets his charger back before Demba goes off to Turkey!
  8. Honestly, selling Pogba makes A LOT more sense for Juve than selling Vidal. But Vidal, I think, is more emotionally attached to Conte and could decide to leave as reaction to his departure. Of course there is the possibility that no one really wants to talk about which is Juve not selling either this summer.
  9. I laugh when people say they hope he stays with Arsenal because he's holding them back and they can become much better under a different manager. Will definitely be remembered as one of the best managers in the history of the league, imo.
  10. Welcome. Glad you decided to finally start posting. Looking forward to your contribution
  11. That was a ridiculous rumor. Inter cannot afford his wages
  12. Yeah great signing for Inter. On the other hand, they seem very close to sign Gary Medel for some reason
  13. Or Pirlo could just coach the team
  14. Conte is an excellent motivator but he's not exactly a great tactical manager. Still way too early to predict who will be the replacement. Maybe Prandelli.
  15. He's had issues with the Juve management for almost two years now. If anything, it has more to do with the lack of attackers coming into the team. But his departure can definitely affect some players, especially Vidal, imo.
  16. Most likely, yeah. But he's had disagreements with the Juve management for two years, now.
  17. Vidal loves Conte. His departure makes this a possibility.
  18. Welcome, lad! Glad it's finally official. Can't wait to see him a Chelsea shirt.
  19. Oh, shit! That means Sociedad are getting Hazard instead!
  20. How about Bertrand? (PS: I seriously contemplated that on the 12/13 kit but eventually got Mikel instead )
  21. But that's too mainstream! My previous Chelsea shirts have Kalou, Mikel and Lampard (was a gift) on them
