  1. I'm sorry, but this makes less than zero sense....Why in the world we go after the Argentinian Salah when we have the real thing right here?!
  2. There are no loan fees, mbecause there is no loan. He never signed for NYFC and in all likelihood he never will. He, as a free agent, signed a short term contract with City till December 31st with a clause to extend the deal till the end of June if he proves valuable for them. He is completely a Manchester City player.
  3. Faith in his future is at an all time low. But if he can get a starting place in the championship at his age, that would be a huge step in restoring it. Not done, yet. But a lot of people saying it will happen.
  4. On a free there is literally nothing to lose and all to gain. He's homegrown, versatile and could show the quality that we all know he has. I'd say he's well worth a shot.
  5. This will probably make you feel very old, but it's actually 20 years on. That's right, 1995 was 20 years ago!
  6. Why in the world would we build something that hideous?!
  7. Please tell me you realize that is obviously fake!
  8. All reports saying he's about to join Cardiff on loan. This could be a very interesting one...
  9. Nonsense. We've already signed Messi according to Twitter (not even joking!).
  10. I'd rather we sign someone who can make the RW position his and have Willian and Schurrle as squad players.
  11. I have someone on my Twitter TL who is both a Chelsea and Millwall fan...
  12. Think he'd do very well in Spain. Would not be a bad move at all for him, imo.
  13. Inconsistent Kompany is still better than Koscielni and 34 year old Terry is miles and miles ahead of him. He's very error prone and his positional awareness is very far from that of world class defenders. He can't even make it into the starting XI of the France NT, let alone be seriously considered as the best defender in the EPL.
  14. "Better than Cahill" and "best in the EPL" are two VERY distinct things. If you say that Koscielny is better than Cahill then I'd say that that's a fair-minded observation. But if you say that he's the best in the EPL a head of JT and Kompany, then, yes, I would probably think you're a deluded Arsenal fan.
  15. Extended highlights and Jose post game interview: http://vimeo.com/115954485
  16. Audio stream if anyone wants. Can't find any video streams. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2dywza_kora4_people
  17. I think it's overrated not because he didn't have an incredible spell for his age, but because people were saying that he was already better than Mikel and Ramires and should be in the England squad for the 2014 WC! (Good ol' Blue Daze! ). In fact, go back in this very same thread, and you can see that I was one the people most excited about this, always reporting on the games I watch and going to watford forums to find what their fans are saying about Nathanial and post it here.
  18. CTV post match interview IIRC. I literally facepalmed when I heard him...
  19. Don't even want to think about the day that JT retires. I honestly don't know if I can emotionally handle it
  20. It was interesting to hear him say after the Tottenham match that he does not judge defenders on individual mistakes
  21. Anyone else think hopes that if Zouma has a great game he can have a real chance at replacing Cahill in our regular XI?
  22. Frank is a genius at utilizing the media for his own agenda. When he was having tantrums about AVB not picking him, or when he was he was negotiating a new contract under Rafa, he would pop up in the media and interviews every time he'd score a goal or get an assist. Now, watch him completely disappear and not give any interviews until all of this blows over so he doesn't have to explain any of it.
  23. More importantly (for me), even then, JT was completely honest with the fans about everything. I very clearly remember an interview with him, it was after he had turned City down, so it would have been very easy for him to come out and say that he never seriously thought about it and won a lot of 'free' credit with the fans like some would do). But instead, he actually said that he had considered the offer and talked it over with his friends and family and said that "it is so much easier to make such a decision when you get honest answers from the ones you love." That pure honesty is, for me, a thousand times more valuable than all the empty words of endearment.
