Didn't say you look alike, you presumptuous cunt. This is, supposedly, an Australian Chelsea fan called Jake, who blew himself up in Iraq today. Is it too much that part of me had hoped that it was you?

Would have liked to see Zouma, but other than that pretty much as I expected.

OMG @, is this you?!

Bushman? Is that you?!

Fucking hell, is the whole internet made up of disrespectful 10 year olds?!

Man, there has NEVER been someone with better vocals to sing rock than Scott Stapp.

League and cup football are very different on the psychological level for footballers. For the record, I don't think that he's doing particularly good with Schalke in the league or that he's likely to last more than a year or so, there.
-
Hmm....new strategy: If you forget about this whole "who had what first" thing, I'll PM you a couple of pictures of me in a new suit...this one has a vest! :eyebrows:

I haven't seen the spirit that Schalke fought with tonight in the CL since....we won it! Motivation and determination are so underrated in football. Robbie knows how to exploit their full power.
-
Go ahead, prove that you had it first, rentboy! You know, you have an excellent, popular account on here, it would be a real shame if it was accidentally deactivated...

Now I really want a beer! @BluesChick, genuinely so happy to see you on here again. So sorry to hear about what's happened lately. I hope you and your family are coping well. Please don't be a stranger if you feel you need to talk about it with someone. You know where my PMs are Much love.

Hats off to Schalke and Robbie, so unlucky not to go through. Brilliant, performance and incredible spirit.

FFS stop moaning about the ref, it's done. What matters is tomorrow and that is still in the hands of the players of both teams. It always amazes me how fans can obsess about things neither they nor the team has any control over like that. I honestly don't even remember any of those incidents!
-
They need a proper manager first and foremost, imo, but their financial issues are going to stand in the way of them competing for top spots unless ownership changes.
-
I wouldn't even send my enemy to Inter right now. No one deserves that cruel fate!
-
At Juve he'd slot right in at either CAM or left wing depending on the formation.

We do have Cesc and Pogba can't play in Oscar's position unless we completely change the roles because tactical discipline and defensive work-rate are his biggest weaknesses. PS: Paul Pogba is NOT homegrown. He would have been homegrown had he signed for an English club this season, but he didn't. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2820634/Asmir-Begovic-Bosnia-s-keeper-played-youth-football-Canada-English-Harry-Kane-far-Premier-League-concerned-home-grown-player-rule-stinks.html Yeah, that wasn't the best way to put it on my part but I didn't know how to express what I meant. I didn't mean to control the midfield like Pirlo or Cesc, but rather through his physical presence. Basically just to influence the game more often because right now for large parts of a lot of matches the game just bypasses, especially in defense. He needs to start shining more through team attributes rather than just individual moments of brilliance. I realize that is very tough and often comes at the expense of individual brilliance. But yeah, he is definitely the biggest young talent out there at the moment.
-
Absolutely. Complete co-sign (except for the part about Polish TV.....and the "fantastic body", I'm more of a "boobs-man" myself ). I'd snap Paul up for something between 35 and 45m pounds, but anything over that, no thanks. He's a luxury signing, we don't need him and we have FFP to worry about it. Honestly, his transfer has RM or PSG written all over it.
-
He's always been very intelligent about stuff like this and now in addition to that he is probably the most experienced CB in the world at the very top level after Puyol retired.
-
I think the one at West Ham was his first, in the EPL at least.
-
"Alex Hinsley, he fucks up when he wants....and even when he doesn't!"
-
Yes, but you'd also want him too develop into a player who is capable of influencing the game at any given moment and consistently helping the performance of the team, not just scoring post card goals. I think he has all that it takes to become a player that is capable of running midfield and controlling the game.
-
But that is only because "no one wants to grow up to be Gary Neville!"
