No mate, just NO! No one who actually regularly watches Guarin would seriously want him in their team. Let me put in perspective: I would seriously take Mark Noble or even Joey Barton ahead of him!

Very interesting points that, imo, often hold ground. I guess one of the positives of having to hear Arabic commentators is that they NEVER have any idea what they are talking about and hence can't influence your viewing of the game!

With the exception that Pellegrino had a group of players in their peak. City spent money on finished products while we were trying to build a team for the next ten years. And the result is that City, in the next couple of season, will need to rebuild most of their team as all of their key players are going past their peak, while our key players are only going to improve over the next few seasons. Of course if we fail to win the EPL this season or if we fail to win anything next season, then sure, Jose's job should be reconsidered. But the work that he and the board have done puts us in a position where that is likely not be the case. And surely you can see the progression that the team has made? Even from last season when we lost 6 matches in the EPL alone. This time we've only lost 3 matches all season in all competitions, none in Europe! We're on our way to finish with 88-89 points total if we continue on same points ration, and I actually expect it to be a couple more. I was reading through here for the past couple of days about the supposedly awful disgusting football we play, and I couldn't help but laugh through some posts. I mean, do those fans not remember the Lampard-Ramires pivot?! Have we really forgotten a time when Victor Moses was one of our best performers in Europe? That was less than two years ago! The team and some of our key players have been off form recently, but for much of the season we were by far the best performers in the country and some said in Europe. The general consensus till November in the British media, let alone Chelsea fans, was that we're doing an 'invincible season' and will go for the quadruple. Now, of course that was a gross exaggeration, but more so have been the reactions towards the European elimination this week. Now, there is some very valid criticism to the team and Jose, even if I don't agree with all of it, but there are definitely valid questions to be asked. But they have almost been overshadowed (maybe understandably so because of the emotions) by some truly ludicrous and over-dramatic claims that have nothing to do with actual reality. Facts: -Jose is one of the best managers in the world who has brought the team long strides forward since returning. -The team has played some excellent football for large parts of the season and deservedly won the league cup and leads the league. -The team has also played some frustrating and ineffective football in certain matches. -Jose and the team have made mistakes that have sometimes cause bad performances like against PSG.

"The same players that got knocked out by PSG are the ones that won the Capital One last week and the ones that will the EPL." "The envy is the biggest tribute that the shallows can do to a man." Shots fired! I'm in no way calling for us to give Jose a ten year deal, I'm just saying that calling for him to get sacked when we're fairly comfortably leading the EPL and just 10 days after winning the league cup is a complete overreaction. While I agree to an extent, you have to look at it from Jose's perspective. PSG aside of course because our approach in the second half was beyond ridiculous. But generally, these tactics have worked for most of his time, even at Chelsea. At the same time, our forwards are just not clinical. We are a team that needs to get into dangerous positions 10-15 times before we find the finish or the pass that makes a goal. So generally, I'd agree with Jose that it is NOT in our best interest to trade chances with other teams. When we play chance for chance against teams, it is more likely to end the way it did at WHL against Tottenham than against Everton.

Almost no one knows this origin of the word and it is never used in that sense. For reasons I do not wish to get into, antisemitism is today only used to reffer to intolerance towards Jews. You won't see anywhere someone refering to racism against Arabs as antisemitism.

You can provide almost any football opinion you want, but "bitchest" is not a valid language to use on this forum, especially by a visiting opposition fan.

I'm all for criticism, and I do believe that Jose takes the biggest blame for yesterday's result. But sack Jose? Really? Ironically it's some of the same people that a couple of years ago were moaning about stability and it's effect on the club and youth integration. And to those announcing the death of 'pragmatic football', it seems all of you have forgotten last season, when this pragmatic football had the team punching well above it's weight both domestically and in Europe.

How about now: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-31845428 If not, just google Jake Bilardi: The radicalisation of an Australian teen on the BBC.

Time to 'rest' Costa? If Ramires starts then Oscar has to as well. Cesc CANNOT play in the number 10 position.

Football ideology? That's not a thing. Even football philosophy is stretching it, but ideology is just meaningless. Wanting to lose 3-0 while playing "attacking football" instead of coming close to qualifying is not an 'ideology' it's insanity that defies the very purpose of football and sports in general. I'll be the first to tell you that Jose got it wrong yesterday and our approach was dreadful after the sending off, but this "I'd rather lose 3-0 and attack" is the biggest pile of silly nonsense that some 'hipsters' have got football fans believing in just to achieve some fake moral victory.

Poor positioning for the second goal, but still my MOTM for that incredible save just before but mostly because he wasn't one of our spiritless outfield players.
-
We all have a laugh about it when we're wining, but it's times like these when his massive ego becomes annoying. I wish, for once, he'd come out and take the blame.
-
We ourselves have been there before, mate, and we know how good it feels. Enjoy it, you certainly deserved it
-
Yeah, I saw the pic. Attractive fucker... so basically the American Phill Neville of punditry?
-
Never heard of him, but google says he's probably the pundit. I have to deal with BeIN pundits, a station who's basically owned by the same family as PSG. Their smug faces make me sick!
-
Now I REALLY need that beer....or a dozen!
-
Can he, for once, come out and take the full blame? There are no excuses today. It's on him.
-
Deserved. Nothing more to add.
-
Lottery? The likelihood of that happening was almost 100%.
-
The whole PSG team has been nothing short of disgraceful from the first leg.
-
Tbf, Oscar most of the time looks like a child who lost his mom in the mall and is about to cry
-
Two things: Ref has been beyond abysmal. Hasn't got a single important call right To be fair to him, Ibra's looked red in real time and he could not have seen Luiz's elbow but absolutely not excuses for the pen 2 meters away. Oh, and if you defended Luiz's "flying elbows" when he was with us, you have NO right to complain about his one on Costa today.

They're barbaric animals, but they're not racists! They'll literally take anyone. In Lebanon alone it is reported that at least half a dozen Christians have joined ISIS in Syria!
