Lampard had a great game. He played a few beautiful passes. Of course. Our first half performance (bar the finishing) was one of the best I've seen by any team this season. We could've easily had 5 by halftime. Let's not forget we had many chances to seal the game in the first 45mins.

I'm not saying that high line defense is the best way for us, I just think that maybe the Arsenal game should not be the match upon which we base our judgment on high-line defending because our defenders were having such an awful day.

I'm a huge AVB fan and supporter, but I have to say that Mr.Boas made a few mistakes yesterday. We went into the second half with all players attacking though we were in front, and only slowed down the tempo after we conceded the third goal! I think along with our back 4, AVB has to take the blame for this one. Plus, I did not like one bit how he explained himself after the match; He seemed to be blaming Mata for the defeat. But I still have every trust in him to lead us out this mess, and bring the players back to confidence after the 2 London derby defeats.

I think we should show some loyalty to our players, especially after defeats. Those lads work hard in every game yet we are ready to get rid of them after every slip on the road. We have an excellent squad that is capable of competing in all competitions; proof: we were the better side in all the matches we played including the one that we lost. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that we should not improve our squad if possible in Jan, I just find it pathetic that some tend to label our hard-working players as shit after every defeat.

If one thing made me happy about yesterday's game, it had to be that Lampsy got the 6000th goal. Imo he's one of the best midfielders in the world, and definitely one of the best players in Chelsea history. Frank Lampard

I'm not a fan of high line defending, but I have to say it had nothing to do with any of the goals we conceded yesterday: 1: No covering from Iva allowing gervinho to drift behind him 2: Bossingwa should be executed for this one. I saw the goal 4 times and I still can't see where he was. Sturridge shares the blame as well since it was the LB who scored. 3: Unacceptable defending from everyone involved in the play. Especially embarrassing for JT and Iva. 4: A combination of dreadful back pass from Malouda and an unlucky slip from JT. 5: Counter attack from Arsenal when we had everyone in attack in the added time, can't really blame anyone. (Though I still think Petr should've done better)

Forgive me, but I will keep on saying that we can win the tittle as long as it is mathematically possible. Besides the point I was making is that this particular game should not, if kept in proportion, effect the fans beliefs of whether or not we can win the tittle. It is only one game out of 38.

Honestly I signed out when the game ended because there were too many members, who are usually very rational, making illogical and overly-dramatic posts. (ex: the tittle race is over, AVB should be sacked, we are shit....etc) I think we should all get a grip, accept this defeat and take the positives like the fact that we were the better team for most of the game, and that we created so many chances to have scored 3.

Arsenal didn't play well, let's not fool ourselves. I repeat: our defense should commit mass suicide. AVB should take the full blame for this one. We payed the price for not killing the game off in the first half.

I wonder what AVB's halftime talk was? "Go out there and be shit"?
