We have three world-class center-halves (other than JT), and Garry Cahil isn't (at the moment) better than any of them. In the middle, you can't expect to see the same players every match; rotation is absolutely key, and I have to say that we have real great talent there, any three that AVB decides to play there would look impressive. I think that we'd all agree that upfront, those three are our best option.

I think that AVB does not need to change his philosophy. I realize how high-line defending is vital to our new style of playing, but there are situations where we'd be defending more than attacking (example: 2-1 up against arsenal), and it is there that I think we need to change the way we defend. After all, nothing is absolute in football, even Mourinho changes his 4-3-3 every in certain situations (Inter vs Barcelona for example).

I really hope Anelka starts. I don't think Dani and Nando do very well against very physical defenders like Blackburn's. I also fear for bossingwa; Blackburn's left side is their strong point. That being said I think we will definitely own the midfield today. We'll probably concede a Samba header from a set-piece, but we have the ability to pass them off the park.
