  1. Switzerland held Netherlands to a draw yesterday. They even had a few chances to win it. On the international level, Switzerland, for me, has no doubt the best defense in the world.
  2. It's the eleventh commandment: "You shall not criticize the holy referees of England"! Totally ridiculous, AVB is being punished for making a good point.
  3. LDN_Blue, though all candidates are worthy of the tittle.
  4. Michel Mcintyre. Maz Jobrani: Stephen Colbert:
  5. Oh god NO. I can only hope he's not a Chelsea fan, I don't think I can live knowing I have something in common with him/her.
  6. Well I don't have a Facebook account (because I abhor Facebook), but I'll make sure to send the link to all my Chelsea-supporting friends.
  7. That's a really shitty stadium name. If we ever change the name of the bridge, I hope we get something a bit more classy like Alianz Arena.
  8. Zola backs England to win Spain match: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xm7tut_zola-england-can-beat-anyone_sport#from=embed
  9. It seems just like Chelsea FC, the talkchelsea team is lacking some wingers. I only play basketball.....need a ball boy?
  10. I think we all saw this one coming. But it doesn't matter, what's important is that he made his point to the reporters and the FA.
  11. So true. We, as Chelsea fans, tend to paint a picture of him as the worst striker in the world, partly because he does not measure up to other amazing strikers we've had over recent years, but also partly because we like to have someone to blame when the team fails to clinch silverware; but realistically Salomon is better than the strikers that half of PL teams have like Bolton, Wigan, Norwich....etc I think we have reached a time where his moving to another team has become a mutual benefit for both him and the club. The only obstacle standing in the way of that move, in my opinion, is his salary.
  12. But the question remains, is he good enough to play for Chelsea? I really don't think he's done anything this season to prove so.
  13. Sir Alex wants a ready made midfielder i.e. Snieder. He has young players, he needs experience to take down City and he knows it. Arsenal....well, he's already won more silverware with Dortmund than he will probably ever win with Arsenal.
  14. I totally agree. I think he's a much better winger than De Bruyne.
  15. He is pretty solid at the back, but not exactly world-class imo. I think he'd make a very good sub if we have an injury at the back, but I'm not sure we can count on him to be a regular starter.
  16. Impressive stats, but the question, as always the case with player arriving from weaker leagues, is: can he match them in the PL?
  17. I really think he's the next big thing, great talent. But Bayern munich will probably end up getting him. I read once that he said he prefers to stay in germany.
  18. Well Juan Mata certainly has the pace and dribbling skills to be one of the best wingers in the world.
  19. lol You obviously haven't tasted alcohol-free beer..in which case, consider yourself lucky.
  20. He's playing with the reserves as well: I honestly don't think he'll get substantially more first team minutes with any other PL team.
