The counter attack was Class, Anleka cutting across to draw the defenders towards him and then Drogba cutting past two defenders and blasting the ball. SUPERB!!! Against Top 4 untill now, we have scored 8 goals and conceded NONE and won ALL!!!...Super Record.

Now that we have gone back to 4-3-3, he will be good. Diamond is difficult for a Defensive Midfielder as you are need to cover a larger space on the pitch.

Shes gonna rip JT to threads going by her posts on this forum....
-
Terry being Captain is more important than Bridge joining the team to WC. He aint Rooney you know...
-
I would be, knowing the sort of MAN JT is he will never give in. He absolutely NEVER HAS. The scumbag Journos want him down. But I am damn sure that if JT wins the World Cup for Enlgand, these very same Journos are going to lick his boots when he returns with the World Cup. The last time I saw a similar backlash by the media was when Beckham got a Red against the Argies in WC 98. They are just Hell Bent on having him step down from the Captaincy. Mind you, If JT is stripped off the Captaincy and the band is given to an inept leader like the DJ basher or the Drug Addict from Manchester, and if England lose in the WC, the blame will come down to JT and not the captain..... I am sure Capello must have seen the determination on Terry's face along with a top performance amidst all the vitriol against him in the media. He seemed to be in a Zone where he was just concentrated on the pitch. Capello knows he wouldnt get a better leader than JT.

Some of the stuff on this thread is hilarious.... What Badboy said is right. Women have the power to say No, and there are very few men who dont think from their Cock. Imagione this, JT goes to console Wayne's girl friend after their break up as they knew each other from the past. Few meetings later there is mild flirting, and then one thing leads to another. Over here, the Woman is a bitch cus shes doing this to her mate's(Toni Terry) husband while shes single.. You never entice your mate's hubby. Thats a serious NO NO. And men being Men will always go for it. Its easy to say JT shouldnt do this and that, but when you are in a room with a Hot chick like that you lose the power of thinking. And all those pricks calling for JT's head, well what he does in the bed shouldnt matter really cus his ON Pitch performances and leadership are second to none. As he showed today by scoring the winner amidst immense pressure from the media and the Burnley Fans.

Made me Chuckle .....

He had, but was recently linked to Barca, Arsenal. He wants to start regularly...so who knows he may choose to move on.
-
Right, I expect to see him on bench against Hull and Start against Arsenal.
-
Agree but as an Impact Player...Kalou > the rest. Sturridge will get a great experience at Portsmouth playing day in and day out in Premier League will help him a great deal. I can see Kalou moving on next season and Sturridge taking his place with Borini the 4th Striker.
-
The problem is, who would you keep out to include Drogba? Malouda is playing like he did during the Hiddink Era, Joe Cole put in an excellent performance, Deco with his defensive Playmaking skills has been a revelation in the last two games, Ballack always there with a decent performance heklping Deco in defense. And Anelka playing like never before..... I would keep Drogba on the bench and start off with the same team. Note that Ancelloti has never repeated the same team in two back to back games...
-
I beleive he will only be happy when we retain the league and more Happy when we win the Champions League. Right now, we are playing good but nothing to get excited about as there is a lot to play in the season. Our last few matches are tougher compared to Arsenal and Man Utd. Hence im keeping my fingers crossed.

Yes so wouldnt that suspension serve with the Birmingham game? This way he will have rest for a week and be fit for the Burnley game on Saturday and not the Hull game......

Anelka - latest deal to hit a snag?
warnie_666 replied to misschief's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Ofcourse not....It would be crazy to offload those players in mid season. I am talking about offloading these players next season and giving our youth more chance. That way we can improve our financial figures and not waste big salaries on dead wood. Its just the 4-5 players im talking about. Wouldnt make a world of difference to the squad. -
Anelka - latest deal to hit a snag?
warnie_666 replied to misschief's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
We Can Sell Belleti, Ferrira, Kalou for sure. We have Mancienne, Cork, Matic, Sturridge to take those places. Ballack and Deco could be sold for financial reasons cus we need to breal even in 3 yrs time or else we wont be allowed in Champions League. Kakuta can take Deco's place for sure. Also, Carvalho can go...as we have Ivanovic, Alex, terry, Rajkovic, Bruma and the likes. We for the first time in many yrs have a goood back up squad so we could do away with the dead wood. Comign to Anelka......I think a Salary of 110K for Him is good enough solely based on his performances in this season. I doubt he will leave us cus Finally he has found a club where he is enjoying his football and living up to the potential. Also, doubt any other coub would pay him 120000 apart from Man City. So Hopefully, he stays...... -
Not sure how Credible the News is but Rumour says we are signing him for 5 million and will loan him back to Boro. How good is he?

Anelka - latest deal to hit a snag?
warnie_666 replied to misschief's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Offload Ballack and Deco, I guess together they both earn 10m a yr from the Club and are Past It and Old. Bring in New Players.....I also dont know what Paulo Ferriera is doing at the club. He is a Dead Wood and We could bring in Mancienne and Play him at that position instead of Ferriera. Belleti could be sold and instead we could bring in Rodwell or Play Cork or Mancienne. Anelka has had a history of throwing tantrums and acting like a Dick. Not sure how will he react if he is told that the club cannot meet his demands. So Far he has been very good at the club. -
Well, If the diffference is 3 points i still wouldnt take a draw at OT cus we have a game at Anfeild n Utd have a relatively easier last few games. Hence a Win at OT is a must to kill their Aspirations

Essien to return to Cobham following injury
warnie_666 replied to Rubber bullets's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I think between 4th and 6th week he will start playing in the reserves and may be around the 7th week he will start for Chelsea. Bang on time for Inter Home Game. -
Joe Cole is one of the best in England and not best in the world. Whereas Lampard, Terry, Drogba, Ballack are best in the world. Top European Players(Ballack may not be the same now). He definately needs to be amongst that elite group to command that salary.

Amen -
Beat the teams around you and you'll be good. By that I mean Beating Arsenal at the Bridge IS A MUST!!!!!, Beating Man Utd at OT is a MUST!!! This will give us the comfort of winning the league even by drawing at Anfield.
-
He is injury prone, hasnt scored many goals since his come back. Has been average. I wouldnt be bothered if he leaves us. We have Kakuta in the line. I think he just milking us knowing we wont be able to sign anyone hence the 130k per week. But i think he will settle down to 100k. Else, Id have Arjen Robben Back in place of Joe Cole. Seems to be playing quite regularly at Munich.
